“We decided to try a different pizza place after hearing good things about this place. Everything we read was spot on, we had some of the best pizza we’ve had in a long time.

In true tavern style the crust had just the right amount of crunch. They have 2 sauce options, sweet & garlic. ( I ordered sweet, but next time we’ll try the 50/50 version) My wife is really picky about onions on a pizza, she liked the ones The Great American uses.

We will totally be ordering from here again.

One suggestion, we would like to order online, but all the online options charge more money than the menu prices. Since we normally order as carry out, we just ordered over the phone.“

“George’s has been ‘Lockport’…..everyone goes to George’s. Love the place!! Been going there for years! Today I went there for breakfast and was told by the waitress I was not allowed to bring in my own creamer. She said it was because people sneak in alcohol disguised as other beverages. Ok…I get that. They don’t want alcohol in the restaurant….but when she claimed it was COVID related that was utter nonsense. Is this yet another instance of stupidity where COVID is on outside creamer bottles but not on everything other item coming through the door? D****“

“A really great place! Our server Sam was very personable. We were there during lunch and there weren’t very many people there. The Rueben Sandwich was exceptional. My wife had the Cheeseburger which was also great.“

“My mom and I like to meet at wineries/ wine bars once a month that halfway for us (parents live in Crystal Lake and I live in LaSalle). Goat and Vine was an excellent restaurant with delicious food and a variety of top notch wines! On top of that, our server made our first time experience that much better; I highly recommend!!“

Wednesday evening slow and our server had a very lack luster approach to service especially when my wife finished her drink and server was not keeping tabs for refills. Bar menu was as large as the food menu. They were touted as comfort food so i thought ok they might serve pot roast, broasted chicken, mashed potatoes, nac n cheese but that was not on menu. None the less the food was Great, Atmosphere Nice, Service could have been better.“

“This is truly a hidden gem in downtown Joliet. Food was absolutely delicious. We tried the pollo anticuchero, the lomo saltado and the papa a la huancaina and it was all very tasty. I had the parchita for a drink and it was also very good. We will definitely be back.“

“We arrived here on a Sunday mid day when the place was not busy but within 30min there were so many families with unruly screaming kids we were wondering if this is a kindergarden party or a restaurant? We took a booth near the entrance and fortunately these big families were placed a bit further away, I felt so sorry for the poor old couple who had 3 screaming girls right near them - many old people are in poor health just like me and trust me, high pitched screaming are not helping when trying to eat ideally quietly. Apart from that, the food was great and had: amazing waffle chips, then steak while I had ribs for the first time in a long time - licking my fingers, of course. Staff was nice and friendly yet I sensed they are not allowed to tell these big families with screaming kids to quieten down, so I kind of feel sorry for the staff - management, think of a solution if you want to have mature people coming back here!!!“

“I've only been there twice since the new location opened, but it's a killer vibe inside. The games are fun, the tables seem to be doing great and the drinks are solid. I'm a sucker for a great old fashioned, and they make a solid one at &vine. Overall it's a great time and a solid modernization over the old one, although the sports bar in the old one always did good by me. Go give it a shot.“

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about the employees at this Culver's location. I accidentally jumped the curb and got my car stuck in the drive-thru. Not your average lunch trip.
Every single employee I interacted with was unbelievably kind, patient, and helpful. No one made me feel embarrassed or stressed. They were calm, compassionate, and genuinely caring throughout the entire situation.
It's not often you encounter that kind of grace and humanity, especially during a busy shift. Their professionalism and empathy turned what could have been a terrible day into something oddly heartwarming.

“Food is always delicious. We are on the spectrum and each of us have our safe foods. Culver's is one of those safe food places where we know we are going to get good service and tasty food each time.

“Came here for a graduation party in the private room. Our bartender was attentive and the drinks were mixed well. I had pizza and beef, both were good. I wish they had a spoon for us to add extra juice to the beef. Pizza had a good crust and flavor. The wings/nuggets were served with two sauces that you add yourself. Flavor was ok. I would try this place for a normal sit down meal.“
