“Food is delicious as always, my only comment because it’s not a complaint is I believe the biscuit/bread given with meal has changed, it used to be more like a buttery biscuit or kind of a cornbread and it was so delicious.. and now its a dry biscuit. There is a choice of 3 sauces: Garlic, Sweet and Mixed. We went with sweet and it was good. Sweet, but not too sweet. They load up the pizza. It’s very hearty and thick. Very similar in thickness to Beggar’s Pizza. Nice to add another choice for pizza locally. Very good and highly recommended. Enjoy!

“I brought my mom here for her birthday dinner before our show at the Rialto theater. We are not from the Joliet area and I was looking for a nice place that offered pescatarian options (vegetarian that eats seafood). A few minutes after we were seated, my mom had a dizzy spell and the staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. They swiftly brought her crackers and offered to do anything they could to help. Luckily the spell passed quickly and she was able to enjoy her delicious birthday meal. We ordered the brussels and the parmesan bruschetta to start, both delicious and we are still talking about those sprouts! We both had the salmon and smashed potatoes, both cooked perfectly and the smashed potatoes were addictive. We started with cocktails and ended with the baklava cheesecake, all excellent. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, from our sweet attentive waitress to the beautiful atmosphere of the tastefully decorated historic building, the meal, drinks and dessert...all perfect! “George’s has been ‘Lockport’…..everyone goes to George’s. Love the place!! Been going there for years! Today I went there for breakfast and was told by the waitress I was not allowed to bring in my own creamer. She said it was because people sneak in alcohol disguised as other beverages. Ok…I get that. They don’t want alcohol in the restaurant….but when she claimed it was COVID related that was utter nonsense. Is this yet another instance of stupidity where COVID is on outside creamer bottles but not on everything other item coming through the door? D****“

“Samantha was absolutely phenomenal, extremely personable, not overwhelming & truly a peach! Our family of 5 celebrated my parents anniversary & she exceeded all expectations. My twin sons shared a tomahawk & I swear it was as smooth as butter, absolutely delicious! “It’s a great places to listen to live music. Open mic on Thursday. Friday usually an acoustic musician. Saturday a band.
The Food is pretty good. It is a small menu though. Waitresses are usually very friendly and helpful. Especially Amanda, she is my personal favorite.

I know there was more on the table but due to the circumstances that is all I remember about the food. Large room , clean restrooms. Good staff.

The seating options are good, which adds to the overall experience. As someone traveling in a semi-truck, I appreciated that there is parking available, although it's a bit limited. However, trucks come and go regularly, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding a spot.
