“I simply loved the crab Rangoon appetizer not a huge fan until I had theirs can’t say enough and and the egg roll were very fresh upon inquiring. I found they make them in house and the crab Rangoon’s that explains why I never had a Rangoon that good any place Highly recommend it“

“Stayed at Harrah’s Casino in Joliet & food at the grill was terrible. Found The Old Fashioned Pancake House Restaurant on Jefferson St in Joliet the next morning and it was amazing. Service was quick, attentive and continuous. Food (breakfast) was simply outstanding and price was very good! I have traveled a lot and this place is a Five Star value in my book.“

“Hidden gem with excellent food. We frequent a few times a month— because the food is just that good. Our fav apps include Spring Rolls, Crab Rangoon, & Pan Fried Dumplings. For entrees, can’t go wrong with Homemade Dumpling Soup, Thai Style Fried Rice, Pad Thai, or Thai BBQ Pork with noodles. My husband is more adventurous and his MVP’s are Massaman Curry & Thai Red Curry. We are slowly making our way through the entire menu but hard not to just order our favorites every time. Thai Milk Tea is also delish. Highly recommend checking it out!“

“Best date night spot! I always get pink lemonade & chicken parm! We try different appetizers, the last time was the garlic cheese curds and they were exactly what I'd expect! So garlicy in the outside and gooey cheese on the inside. The staff is so friendly, the food is so delicious. Highly recommend trying to get a booth if you can! It's a whole different experience eating in their booth(although the table doesn't change the yummy food).“

“They went above and beyond for our family. We had about 30 people who decided to go out to dinner after a wake. We called and 15 minutes later they had a huge table set up and did an awesome job of taking care of us. Very impressed with the service we received.“

“I had a bad experience my first time going after they opened but I gave it another try tonight and I was so impressed with the waitress, I asked her name she said Stephanie and she said she is fairly new, well hopefully you get alot more servers like her she was perfect and so extremely friendly, we will ask to be seated at her tables next time for sure! My first experience the waitress didn't even smile ,I had to ask numerous times for obvious items it was rediculous but definitely going back now also she wasn't just standing around like the last time I went 3 waitresses just chatting and actually had to ask for one of them to take our order after 15 minutes so tonight I give 5 stars last time I gave 1 star“

“Wanted to give a huge shout out to the Joliet location. We stopped there after taking my grandmother to the casino and she didn’t have her wheelchair. She walks but very slowly. The staff was super kind and made sure she had a walkway and opened all the doors for her. They didn’t rush her or make her feel bad for taking a while! They cared and were so helpful! Great food and great staff! Thank you!“

“Great food and a staff that is always friendly and efficient. My last trip there, it was packed. My wife, two adult sons, and I got the only open table. We settled in expecting a long wait for our food. What a pleasant surprise when we were served very fast and the food was actually hot and good. Hot food, especially breakfast is a rarity in restaurants anymore. Great experience all in all.“

Went on a Sunday night & had a lackluster dinner compared to numerous other visits. New menu, later in the evening on a weekend. But undercooked veggies & lukewarm sides were not ideal.

“coming here to leave a review before we even meet our reservation times! We had reservations at the lemont location, and who ever had called me (forgot the name, my bad) was so nice about a unfortunate situation and went out of his way to call the lagrange location and book my reservation for my boyfriends birthday dinner/promotion celebration. since I moved to this area 6 months ago, I have never crossed paths with such a caring sweet person. Lemont location, we haven't been there yet, but we will be soon just for that! thank you so much to the one who made sure we were able to keep our dinner reservations! UPDATE: made it to the food. first of all. food and drinks are amazing hands down. if you havent went... GOOOO!! Gary and Trevor, from the Lemont and Lagrange locations, thank you so much for making it a memorable night for my boyfriend for his birthday/promotion. you both are the greatest and hands down will be the reason why we become regulars and we tell everyone to come visit both locations. ♡♡♡“

“We stumbled upon The Tasty Biscuit while in town for a wedding and ended up coming back twice—it was that good. Despite a packed parking lot both mornings, we were seated right away thanks to their fast, efficient service. The coffee was excellent, the menu was full of creative and classic options, and the food itself? Quite possibly the best breakfast we’ve ever had. On our second visit, we even recognized some familiar faces from the day before—clearly, we weren’t the only ones hooked! If you’re anywhere near this place, don’t miss the chance to stop in. I've tried & highly recommend the Cinnamon pancakes, S'mores pancakes, Southwest Benedict, waffles, steak chilaquiles & the Cowboy breakfast sandwich. “My mom and I like to meet at wineries/ wine bars once a month that halfway for us (parents live in Crystal Lake and I live in LaSalle). Goat and Vine was an excellent restaurant with delicious food and a variety of top notch wines! On top of that, our server made our first time experience that much better; I highly recommend!!“

“George’s has been ‘Lockport’…..everyone goes to George’s. Love the place!! Been going there for years! Today I went there for breakfast and was told by the waitress I was not allowed to bring in my own creamer. She said it was because people sneak in alcohol disguised as other beverages. Ok…I get that. They don’t want alcohol in the restaurant….but when she claimed it was COVID related that was utter nonsense. Is this yet another instance of stupidity where COVID is on outside creamer bottles but not on everything other item coming through the door? D****“
