“This place is such a hidden gem! Catered from them for Xmas eve and had my birthday dinner there a week before. Actually also had my rehearsal dinner there almost 10 years ago lol! Can't say enough good things.. they let me put in a last minute order for Christmas Eve so I didn't have to cook a ton of pasta, and gave me extra vodka sauce!!! My family and I were in a pickle this Christmas Eve, and we found ourselves trying to find a good place for catering. I called in the morning, fully expecting them to say they can’t take any more orders, which they would have had every right to do. Not only did they take my order on a short notice, they had everything ready on time, fresh, and cooked perfectly! If you’re looking for good food and good service for the next time you want to do catering, I would highly recommend Nonnas! Just don’t make the mistake I did ordering last minute, out of respect for this great business!“

“Frankie’s is one of the best places to go to for a celebration, date night, or just to enjoy some delicious food. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. The staff is very nice and attentive, including Frankie who seems to greet and say something to everyone who comes in. It is one of our favorite places hands down! We also catered them for our housewarming party and the process was very easy and the food tasted amazing as usual. Definitely recommend!“

The moment we walked in, we were greeted not only by the host and hostess, but also by several staff members and even guests at the bar. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Pure class. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and perfectly accented with soft candlelight, making the evening feel special and intimate. Met the owners/ daughter and mom. So very sweet and funny too. Our server was Candy. She was working very hard on a busy Valentine’s Day. I had the lasagna and I can honestly say it was the best lasagna I’ve ever had in my life! The ricotta filling was so whipped and light. It was just delightful and so delicious. The bomba ice cream was scrumptious! Cannot wait to return to this gem of a restaurant!! 🇮🇹“

“I had a catered event on October 2nd. The food was excellent!! Especially the Italian beef and Mac and cheese. Went to drop off stuff snd decided to have lunch since we were there. The Reuben was to die for!! As was the beef sandwich. We also loved the fries. Thank you Jim for making the food for our 30th anniversary party . I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“Their pizza is delicious. My family loves pizza. We have tried many is the surrounding area and nothing compares to Guardi's. It has become a staple for take out in my house. Their service is great (I have never arrived and had to wait for my order) and the employees have always been extremely friendly and sufficient. It's worth giving them a try.“

They were friendly and fast and even put my order in a to go container per my request in case I had to leave quickly or couldn't eat it all. I had a 16oz Moody Tongue Here's to Harry IPA, perfectly chilled and delicious 😋. I also had the Blue Cheese Holy Cow Chips. They were good, but too much Blue Cheese for my taste. I only ate about half and then had to board. I took the rest with me, but didn't end up eating them. Jorge provided great customer service. Reasonably priced. The beer was a little pricy, but expected.“

“So me and my daughter and grandchildren were supposed to go to longhorn steakhouse but the wait time to get a table was over an hour long. It was on a Saturday night and everything was pretty much crowded and wait time rediculous. So we usually go to the Barracos in evergreen Park but we were in the Orland neighborhood so decided to get dinner out there. I am so glad we went to Barracos our here it was so nice the food was delicious the drinks were amazing and the waitress was outstanding she made sure that our glasses were filled with soda if a refill was needed and came back to see if we needed anything else. Also the food was so delicious my son in law wanted us to bring him back a pizza so we got carry out food to take home. I will definitely be coming back to this location again service was excellent ❤️“

One small but important piece of feedback: the bathrooms don’t have paper towels and have pull doors, so for those hygiene conscious of us, there’s no method to avoid touching the door handle. I would suggest either paper towels, a push door or one of those foot things to pull the door.“
