“Had a wonderful breakfast here while in town. One of the most hospitable restaurants I’ve ever been to! Waitresses Anna Marie and Debbie were so pleasant and made us feel like family. “We had a large group just before lunchtime on a Saturday, and they were great about squeezing us in. Our server D was amazing, truly, and the other staff were helpful and attentive, too. The food was delicious, hot, fast, priced affordably. They have a large menu. We had some special diets in our group and there were enough options for them to find what they needed. I definitely would return and would recommend it to friends.“

“We had to get up early to bring our car in for servicing and decided to come to First Watch. We had been here in Orland Park two other times before… one was during their grand opening and it was not our favorite place to come to. Sometimes it really comes down to the server and we didn’t really like the service we had. We came back again when it was warmer outside and had a very pleasant experience. But today REEGAN was our server and she knocked it out of the park! I tried the Godfather Bowl and my husband had the Trifecta. I asked Reegan a lot of questions about their various bowl offerings, and she told me what she liked about each one. When she asked me what kind of eggs I wanted, and I said you know whatever works best. I didn’t really care, and she said I would recommend the scrambled eggs because a lot of people think the other ones are too runny with the other items that are in the bowl. She also told me if I didn’t like the scrambled eggs she would substitute something else after I tried them. The sauce that came with the Godfather Bowl is extremely hot. Just a dab is needed. The Italian sausage was grilled well and tasty. I liked the grits served with the dish. While we waited for our food, she brought out warm syrup for my husband‘s pancake and then some compote for him to put on it because he prefers jelly. We both got to-go-cups for our never-ending coffee, and I really liked the sipping spout on the cup. I’m impressed on how clean everything is at this location. I saw another server, clean off the salt and pepper, shakers, etc. off the tables because the restaurant had just basically opened and she was waiting on more customers. Pricing is more reasonable that several local breakfast spots in Orland Park. Next time we come in here, I’m gonna ask for REEGAN; you should too.“

“This was our first time eating at YiaYia's Cafe in Hinsdale, Illinois. The restaurant and bathroom was very clean. The food was great tasting and perfect portions. The waitress was very friendly and professional. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again!

“Stopped here for breakfast, 1st time and I would definitely recommend it. The service was excellent and the food was great (real, fresh, hot, cooked to order)! I had the sampler with oatmeal pancakes and they were delicious!!! My other options included the chicken avocado crepe and Mediterranean omelette. The coffee was good, it came to the table in its own thermal to stay hot. I highly recommend!!“

“The Willow Hills Pancake House was one of our favorite places when we lived in the area six years ago. We recently returned to Chicagoland for a wedding and had brunch with some old friends at the new Golden Century Cafe before heading home. We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the service, and the fresh redecorating by the new owners, Mark and Sandra, since they took over in December of 2025. If you haven't checked out Golden Century Cafe, it would be worth your while to do so. Good food and large servings at a reasonable price.“

“Orland Oasis hit the spot for breakfast. The place was quiet, simple, and laid back. Nothing fancy, just easy to sit down and eat.

The staff was super friendly. They checked in enough but didn’t hover, and they seemed like they actually cared about the people eating there.

I got the Everything Skillet with scrambled eggs. It had peppers, onions, mushrooms, bacon, basically a mix of everything. The veggies still had a little crunch, the bacon was crispy, and the whole thing just tasted good. Big enough to fill me up.

Honestly, that’s all I wanted. Good food, no hassle, and a calm start to the morning.“

Despite a packed parking lot both mornings, we were seated right away thanks to their fast, efficient service. The coffee was excellent, the menu was full of creative and classic options, and the food itself? Quite possibly the best breakfast we’ve ever had. “Had a delightful dinner last night at CAFE ROMEO. It is easiest to enter their parking from E. Romeo Rd. We stopped for dinner. The menu is varied and the prices are very reasonable. We tried the soup, a large salad with seafood, a breaded pork tenderloin with mashed and gravy. Everything was delicious. Had things on the menu we had not seen at other restaurants for a long time. “I had made a reservation for what I thought was Water's Edge, but it turns out it was the Hyatt Lodge restaurant. Apparently, they share the same space, but Water's Edge only serves lunch. That was a bit confusing, especially since no employee was there to greet and seat us. So be aware of that. There were only two waiters, which was fine since it was not very crowded, but it took a few minutes before either of them acknowledged our presence. After that all went well. The food was delicious, waiter service was fine, and dining on the outside patio by the small lake was quite nice on a perfect weather day. A table umbrella to shade us from the sun would have been nice, though. I will definitely dine there again.“
