“I was looking for a place to eat on my first day at NIU, noticed this place on google maps. I wasn't sure what to get, so the chef recommended me a shawarma wrap, and let me tell you it was worth it. They also accept husky bucks, so if you are a student that wants to try something new, this is the place.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp leading directly off of the pavement next to their shop, and they have a grouping of shorter tables that would be easy to eat at with a wheelchair. There is also ample room to maneuver around in a wheelchair or any other related mobility device. The front door is manual however, so you might have difficulty with it.“

“We had a couple of the sauces spill and I believe her name was Melissa who gave me great customer service! I appreciate it so much, I dont like being that person to call and have to get a new meal but when it happens and there's no issues about it it's so relieving. Hubby can eat 😋 ALSO! “I came here several months ago but passed it recently in my travels and distinctly remembered the wonderful service provided. I came to this McDonald’s late at night on a drive to Iowa and I think it may have been the manager who was alone working? He cooked up the freshest quarter pounder I’ve ever had at a McDonald’s. We had a nice chat, he talked through how many minutes or seconds each part of the cooking process is supposed to take, and shared the insight that oftentimes one might get fresher food at McDonald’s at night time because they don’t leave food sitting and cook things to order. A pleasant experience with a kind person. If I ever stop at the oasis, I’ll probably stop by.“

Every time we walk in, the restaurant is clean, the workers are friendly, and the food tastes fresh, not rushed or thrown together. My kids love it more than anywhere else. They get excited before we even pull into the parking lot, already talking about what they’re going to order. My boyfriend loves it just as much. He has his usual order, and he swears nobody makes it like Culver’s does. “I love Arbys and about half the time this location rocks it. the other half, they dont put cheddar on their beef and CHEDDAR sandwiches. This time, they tried at least... not gunna lie, that's kind of getting annoying...“

“On 4/15/26 around 9:40pm, I was having a comically bad day and wound up walking in the pouring rain with no umbrella or coat. It's a long story on how that happened, but I decided that I'd stop at Sonic for some mozzarella sticks so that I could at least enjoy something nice before walking 25 minutes home in the rain.

I was super embarrassed and down about it, but Kenny met me with so much compassion and sympathy. I felt seen on one of the worst days I've had in awhile. He gently encouraged me to dry off in the bathroom, and I really want to thank him for helping me maintain some level of dignity in that moment. He also offered to let me sit inside until I was dried off. I will never forget this interaction.

“This will be the last time we order from here , the food was so greasy, I called to complain and got yell at said it was my fault, very unprofessional, he said he didn't need my business the food was horrible me and my wife still feeling not well after the next day. He actually told me something may be wrong with my health, go to the doctor his food is fine the arrogance...wow“

“Yall are amazing, my wife and I's favorite sandwich shop we've ever been to. Honestly there service is on par with mom n pop restaurants, 10/10. We hardly eat out, maybe 5 times a month and 4 of those times will be at this specific Jersey Mike's.“
