“This place is truly one of the best spots for Mexican food 🌮😋! I tried a steak burrito and some steak tacos, and the flavor of the steak was amazing 🤤. Portions were generous, and even though I got my order to go 🥡, the restaurant itself is small, cozy, and super clean ✨. I loved the cute decorations and the overall vibe 🪴🎨. Definitely a must-visit if you’re on the Southside 👍. I’ll absolutely be coming back soon!“

“Surprisingly for a hidden taco joint in a gas station, it’s great. I’ve had the tacos, burritos, and torta. The el pastor burrito is delicious! Their burrito tortilla is not like those thin stretchy flour tortillas, it’s great for burritos. The steak, lengua, and el pastor tacos are good too! The carnita taco is okay, not the best but it’s good. The torta is one of my go to’s. It can be a bit pricy but I think it’s worth it if you have the money to spend lol.“

“Pacheco's food is delicious and generous and they are always so friendly!! For my money, it is the best taco salad in the city. They have brightened up that little spot and we are so grateful to have them as neighbors ❤“

“We hired them for a graduation party 🎓🎉, and they were absolutely amazing to work with! From the start, they were kind, helpful, and super easy to communicate with 🤝😊. During the event, their energy was great they were not only professional but also fun to be around, which really added to the overall atmosphere of the celebration 🎈✨.
Everything went smoothly thanks to their support, and they made sure we felt comfortable and taken care of the whole time 🙌. It’s not always easy to find people who are both organized and genuinely enjoyable to work with, but they definitely delivered on both.

“This place has amazing tacos de carnitas !!!! The meat was so tender and juicy. No fat on the tacos I had. It’s a 20 min drive from my house in Gary but man it’s worth the drive. I highly recommend. I had 2 tacos de carnitas 1 asada 1 apastor and 1 large agua de Jamaica. Total was $18“

“Just had their steak (carne asada) tacos! Absolutely fantastic! The green salsa is on point! Very generous on the size of their tacos. I'm extremely picky when it comes to getting tacos in fact I only like my tacos from one or two taco places in all of Chicago. This is my first time coming here and this spot just got added to my small list. I will most definitely stop by this place whenever I'm around this area. Thank you for the great food! “I just ate here today. And service was great food was good and made ready to order. Who ever that girl is on the register is is hella mad gorgeous. Definitely would recommend and I am coming back. “The food! OMG The Food!
I was out visiting a friend and discovered this place. When I walked in and saw the hot (spicy) vegetables I wanted to start eating them while waiting on my to go order. When I opened up that container I felt like I struck gold! The food was delicious and the onion bulb was a great touch. A real portion of food. I definitely got my moneys worth. I live 30 minutes away and will be driving over there when I want a taste of Mexico.

“We ended up at this place by chance with 6 of us, ranging from teens to a grandma. All of us loved it. The tacos were really delicious. Grandma felt that the guacamole was too salty so the owner came out and apologized, made her a fresh batch to her liking AND removed it from the bill. Both food and service were top notch. The atmosphere was super fun and lively too.“

“This was my 2nd time at Casa de Tacos y Tequila. I ordered the birria torta with rice and beans. Their birria is made with lamb, and is flavorful and tender. I really enjoyed it. The sides I had, in my opinion, were mediocre. We went during Happy Hour showcasing $5 margaritas and 2 for $4 tacos. Margaritas were great, and my friends enjoyed the tacos! I'd return!“

“This place was so good! My boyfriend, baby, and I came here to dine in yesterday and the food was phenomenal. We were looking for queso barria tacos on google and they showed up. The server was awesome. They didn’t have a kids menu but I asked if they can do rice and eggs for the baby and they did just that he loved his meal as well! The cook even came to talk to us for a bit which I thought was pretty cool…very personalable! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you for your service 😁“

“People's tacos in hazel crest was great enjoyed the tacos will go out there again support people's tacos to me reminds of the tacos my mom use to make and I have some home made butter cookies from people's tacos all I can say is give them a try“

“I drive 35 mins to get this food - the hot sauce are real good, this time the waitress was a little slower than usual but she was super busy. It is a nice restaurant not that many tables but it’s got a nice vibe. I recommend to ppl all the time. I highly recommend the Mulitas and Al pastor meat. Top notch“

“Best Jerk Chicken I've had, the food is beyond amazing and delicious and their customer service is excellent. Someone greets you when you come in to order or pick up your food. Everything from the Jerk chicken , Jerk chicken Alfredo and all the side dishes are delicious.
