“Food - excellent, highly recommended the pho. Owner/staff - 10/10 incredible service. Atmosphere - easily the cleanest place I’ve been in, with a sense of feeling at home. You can tell they care about business and environment. We will be back!“

“This little hole in the wall doesn't look like much, but it's easily the best Chinese restaurant for miles around! Everything was delicious, and the portions were incredibly generous! As someone who's had a lot of bad crab rangoon, I was delighted that they were crispy and well stuffed. Their lo mein is also top notch! We'll definitely be coming back again.“

“This is a bad review because you used to be able to eat in the resurant, they delivered. Now no delivery an not a place to eat in ,I call B.S. They took over a great restaurant an now look what we have, can't even deliver but the menu shows they do. Sad that we lost a great place an now have this in place. The pandemic is over bring back the restaurant, an delivery!!!!“

“Hong Kong House - How Happy I am to have you opened again! The ONLY Chinese Restaurant in the Alton area that serves REAL Chinese Veggies in their meals - NOT frozen peas, carrots, & corn. I ordered the Veggie Fried Rice - served with thinly sliced carrots, bean sprouts, water chestnuts, baby corn, and bamboo shoots just to name a few. We also had Hunan Chicken Combo Plate with Fried Rice and Crab Rangoon - Yummy. Again lots or real fresh veggies without being over loaded with huge chunks of onion. Love Love Love the food here“

“We were in the mood for Chinese, so we stopped in. Is it pinky out, fancy Chinese? Not even close. It's gotta have it, greasy Chinese. Please don't take that the wrong way. Sometimes you just need some old school Chinese, and they got that. The portions were huge, and the cost wasn't terrible. The highlight, for me, were the fried wontons. The beef and broccoli was flavorful, and the broccoli still had the crunch (no one likes soggy broccoli). The crab rangoon were the sweet style, not my favorite, but decent enough. Of course I'm going to go back.“

“We’ve been to this place many times. My only complaint is that they don’t seem to vary the menu. It would be nice if they had a “dish of the day” to add some variety.
Also, there’s only one choice of ice cream and no toppings.
The staff is friendly and place is clean.“

“The food is always fresh to order!! Omg the staff is so friendly and truly welcome you 💗 this location is all about community 💗
I tried the chicken wing plate that came with pork fried rice and an egg roll and everything was fresh!! Bottled drinks available for purchase and definitely worth the experience. We dinned in and truly appreciate the service.“

“Dont let the outside appearance fool you, the food is great for the price. That being said, its not the best food and the inside is very run down and grimy. My chicken lo mein had more veggies than chicken and the beef and rice were average. Still worth a try.“

“I am very pleased with my service they were quick and pleasant. I'm not sure if it was an accident, but they threw in a couple cans of soda too!! Haven't even tried the food yet, but I've seen many good reviews and so far it's been a great experience. Thanks for your hard work!!**UPDATE**The food was great too! HUGE shrimp in the coconut shrimp ?“

“Great STL Chinese food. One of my favorite places.
Vegetarian options: This is your typical Chinese restaurant where you can modify what you want in your order. You can get vegetable fried rice. You can specify what vegetables you want in there and what you don't. You can get vegetable curry, you just tell them you don't want any meat in your curry. I would just note that it's probably cooked on the same thing that the meat is cooked on, so if that is a problem I would suggest you go somewhere else.“

“Best Saint Louis style Chinese food around in the world. I come all the way from Conyers, Georgia just to eat here. I always stop here: when I come home to visit Saint Louis, Missouri. Just wonderful food & great staff. Amazing food & wonderful staff & wonderful customers too. I enjoy talking to customers & catching up on: what is going on in my hometown of Moline Acres, Mo. I grew up in this small town Moline Acres, Mo: so I always come home & stop & visit Moline Acres, Mo & go ti Leawa Chop Suey. The food is just a wonderful part of my childhood. I grew up eating at Leawa Chop Suey: they are like my second family.“

“I order from this place specifically despite having several Chinese restaurants that are closer. The fried rice is the best I've had. The orange, bourbon, and general tsos chicken are all really good. They also work with people to make specialized orders. For example I am allergic to wheat and can't eat the breaded chicken. They make mine without the breading so that I can order the things I really want. I highly recommend.“
