“THE BEST BURGERS AND SWEET POTATO FRIES IN ILLINOIS PERIOD! PLEASE GIVE YOUR EMPLOYEES A RAISE, they are all very kind and helpful! Also the turtle sundae was very delicious. The establishment is very spacious and clean. I love visiting places where the employees are having fun while still providing excellent customer service. It almost felt like i was in the krusty krab with a lot of spongebobs and no squidwards. ??

UPDATE 8/10 this time i had the classic chicago hotdog and sweet potato fries! Unfortunately this time around the hot dog was not all that great, very bland and actual weiner didn’t have much flavor and the sweet potatoes were a bit burnt, but i think this is a minor mistake than can easily be fixed in the future! Can’t wait to be back!“

She was so patient with my many questions and never made me feel like a nuisance. Everything was completed to perfection and done so artistically with Vanessa's recommendations. “They are by far the best dq in the suburbs. They are not stingy with toppings. Sure the price reflects that sometimes but will you rather pay $8 for a blizzard with 2 Oreo cookies in it or $10 for one with 8 Oreos in it? I love the Oreo blizzard and Reese’s. Though no fault of their own…I wish the Reese’s had less choco chunks and more peanut butter stuff ❤️. Regardless i appreciate them and always thank them!“

“I have come to this candy shop for the last 10 years. That should speak for itself. If it doesn't, I'll say more:I absolutely love chocolate malts. Any place I go that has them, I always order one. SweetSpot makes the most INCREDIBLE malt I have ever had anywhere, and not once in 10 years has it been less than amazing! I took a friend a few months ago, telling them that the malts are the best and she was skeptical. Had one sip and said it was "50/10."However, if you aren't into malts, there are many other things to love. They have the widest variety of candies I have ever seen at one shop, plus some types of candy that I haven't seen anywhere else in 15 years, not to mention soda in actual glass bottles! Good luck finding those in your local grocery store! It seems impossible to find a real *candy* store anymore, as opposed to a store with a candy section.If you're in the area, SweetSpot is a must-visit. I'm moving several hours away tomorrow, but you can be sure that any time I come back to visit, I'll be stopping here for a malt!“

“I visited the Crystal Lake Culver’s on Saturday, May 24th, 2025. I am an avid fan of Culver’s and I have visited 35 locations in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Missouri and Kentucky. As a resident of Crystal Lake I visit this Culver’s very regularly. The food was excellent and the service was quick. “I came here and they have delicious bubble tea and frozen yogurt, they also have many options for toppings. I purchased the lychee boba and it was so delicious! The place is very clean to. However the hours are a bit odd they open pretty late but they close late to which is convenient. Overall great place!“

This is the first one that actually filled the cup with Oreos. I order a medium blizzard oreo with extra oreo.

To my surprise they filled it with Oreos!. Unlike other places that I ask for extra oreo and you can’t see any. This place filled it up im super happy I will definitely be back here.“

“My first visit to The Inside Scoop was on Friday, March 21, 2025. And I was pretty impressed, they had a great variety of flavors that all looked good. You can’t go wrong with mint chocolate chip. It’s one of the great ice cream places if you’re looking for one in downtown Crystal Lake. If the opportunity presents itself I will definitely be returning!“

“Dairy Queen has always been about the ice cream and sundaes. However some people like myself eat the Chilli dogs and other food items offered. The food is average and definitely could use a new updated menu with more options. The customer service was great and she helped explain the menu items for me. The reason I gave 3 stars for atmosphere is because it's quite drewy in the building and it also could use an update. ENJOY!!“

“This is a new Culver's, still great food, in a modern package. You must try everything but for your first time go with a butter burger, cheese curds, and leave room for custard of your choice.

Next time (there will be a next time) look beyond a burger and try the cod, pot roast sandwich, or soup.

“I got charged $2.50 for a spoon of Mayo and a spoon of cheese on a small cup of corn? i been coming here for so long and never got charged, when i saw my receipt and noticed i couldn’t believed it. I went inside and ask for a bit more and all i got from the supervisor is that he need it another $2.50 what a shame of handling this business by the supervisor Ruben hope this help to as awareness to our community and pay attention to what you pay. you better drive a couple more miles to the next michoacana for a better product and definitely better service. “McDonalds is getting way overpriced and food is....ok at best. Thought I'd try Culvers in FRG. Was NOT dissapointed!
