The french fries were hot and fresh. The drinks were not over iced this was a really good McDonald's trip (not all of our trips to McDonald's are this lucky).“

“My friend told me about Shaw's Coffee half a year ago. As a regional coffee connoisseur, I added it to my STL coffee list and popped in one random day.

The building itself is stunning, the high ceilings and gorgeous tin ceiling make it feel cozy even on the rainiest of days. There are a handful of tables inside and outside of Shaw's and can be hard to score on the weekend. I suggest asking a lone person at a 4 top if they wouldn't mind sharing as the customers are overall friendly.

My favorite days at Shaw's are when Shane roasts the coffee beans 🫘 right in front of you. The whole store smells like coffee heaven and makes me want to purr like a contented cat. I wish they would do talks about roasting, the process and machine etc. But maybe that is just me being a nerd.

The bariastas are so patient, friendly and kind! When the seasonal drinks change they are always helpful to recommend what they like (which I enjoy !). Order a coffee flight! Try all the delicious seasonal varieties and then try them again a few weeks later when the newest flavors change over.

Full of flavor and wonderfully spiced, I could drink this every day. The barista was an absolute gem as well. I’m always on the hunt for a great coffee shop, and this has definitely made the list.“

She gave me a sample of a coffee drink and it was delicious. I went back today for more coffee. The other worker was there and also very kind. I am a coffee snob and both drinks I tried were GOOD. “Nice cozy setting that’s good for catching up with friends or getting some studying/work done. Coffee tasted pretty good but food (lunch) was kind of meh. We got chipotle chicken sandwich and turkey pesto club. The chicken was bland and kind of chewy in places. The turkey club was below average. It wasn’t toasted and didn’t even have a slice of tomato. Pesto was minimal with pretty boring nonexistent flavors. Might go back to try some breakfast and more coffee.“

“Okay, let me just say I’m from the east coast and I truly believe that NY has the most superior bagels… but with that being said, I did enjoy my pepper cheddar bagel with egg and cheese. It was tasty! This bagel seemed to have a bit more rise/fluffiness than my friends’ bagels which were the everything with scallion cream cheese and an egg and cheese on sesame. The bagels overall are flatter but I believe that’s due to the way they are made.

They have a nice variety of bagels and schmears. I was also intrigued with getting the rosemary and sea salt!

“Iced Guava Matcha was delicious and sweet, ube cookie was also good, it was an online order that was ready by the time I walked there (abt. 7 min, online estimated 15 min.) Bagel had a whisper of cream cheese and was mostly egg unfortunately not my style for bagels, bathroom is down a long gray hallway thats kinda creepy but actual bathroom is very homey inside. Very quiet chill vibes in the cafe and staff was incredible and kind at the time I went (7 am)“

I order breakfast from here very often via DoorDash. The food is good, but im having issues with my order. I order the bacon egg and cheese bagel and I select to add extra of the bacon, egg and cheese which makes my bagel sandwich about $15.00 (not including doordash fees/tip). Here lately I keep getting single ingredients. I would love for this to stop being an issue.“
