“I came here with a couple friends about a month ago on a Tuesday night and it happened to be their trivia night. And we ended up joining in on the fun.

The place is huge! The main room has a long bar and was full. We were seated in a room across from the bar. It was also huge and I think they occasionally had live music in that room. Our server was attentive and was constantly refilling our drinks. However, once we finished eating, we never saw our server again. Not even to to fill up water. As soon as the trivia ended, our server resurfaced and hovered while we settled our bill. Weird, right?

We were seated in a booth. Just three of us. It could have easily held six people.

So, someone comes by and says we're playing trivia. It's on the app and he shows us the app and tells us how to set it up.

This is all before we order drinks. It's all about the trivia. I have no idea where the other teams were as the place was ginormous.

We were there for our burger club. Between the three of us, we ordered the Tavern burger and the 'Merica burger. They were cooked very well, very flavorful. The buns held up, cheese melted well and fries crispy, but not too crispy. Everything was good...

Except that damn trivia game. It took forever. A simple trivia game that should have last maybe 45 minutes dragged on for nearly two hours. It was insane how slow it was. And no one wanted to leave? And I have no idea why as the prize was like a $25 gift card. It was lame.

I'll definitely return to try some of their other food, but I'll avoid their damn trivia night.“

“Not only have I loved Hawthornes from when I was a kid growing up in West Chicago! It was the PERFECT place to have my wedding. Lou, Heidi and Kelly did fantastic and helped make my dream come alive! Every question I had they answered and were able to accommodate so much! Heidi was in CONSTANT communication with me and was able to give advice and help me through the whole process. Her suggestions were so helpful and she helped during the ceremony and reception. I could not have done it without them. This place treats you like family and has amazing service! When my husband and I went to pick up our things the next morning we were planning on taking 2 trips and Lou let us borrow his truck that is how amazing and friendly they are! WE LOVE YOU HAWTHORNES! Thanks for making our wedding the best day of our lives(: not to mention EVERY guest couldn’t stop talking about how fun the venue was and there was something for everyone to do, wiffleball, volleyball, giant beer pong, bags, dancing, and more! Everyone was able to have fun the whole time!“

“was there on Sunday October 6th,Great place to watch a Bears game, food prices are really good. The Bone in chicken wings are really good. I had the sweet teriyaki My friend had the garlic parmesan wings we also ordered a pizza however the pizza was okay The cheese was rubbery, I would have liked to have brought these issues to my server however she was kind of in hiding, my server was very slow and that's usually not the case there..
maybe she had an off day“
