We had brisket, pulled pork, ribs, rib tips, cornbread, baked beans, and mac & cheese. Wow - what a hit. Incredible quality, the best service, and we love supporting local businesses. “Not only have I loved Hawthornes from when I was a kid growing up in West Chicago! It was the PERFECT place to have my wedding. Lou, Heidi and Kelly did fantastic and helped make my dream come alive! Every question I had they answered and were able to accommodate so much! Heidi was in CONSTANT communication with me and was able to give advice and help me through the whole process. Her suggestions were so helpful and she helped during the ceremony and reception. I could not have done it without them. This place treats you like family and has amazing service! When my husband and I went to pick up our things the next morning we were planning on taking 2 trips and Lou let us borrow his truck that is how amazing and friendly they are! WE LOVE YOU HAWTHORNES! “terrible food. cuts of steak were that bad cuts ; nothing but fat and the food was horrible ..either is was bland or I was coughing from the amount of overspice it was given. the manager couldn't even come and talk to us , and had the server come apologize, and were still charged the full amount regardless of THEIR mistakes..the server though, she was great to us, bless her heart. they do not serve drinksneither, fyi. if youre looking for a date night out, this is not it.“
