“Update:
I went a second time to try more things. I wouldn't recommend the potato pancakes. I don't know if it was an off day but the potatoes were dry, like they were left out for too long and then fried.
But the belly lox sandwich was amazing! On the salty side but that's how we like it. It came with a side of potato salad which was also amazing.

The food was good but not great. The bagel and cream cheese were good and standard but the pastrami hash and eggs were okay with not a lot of flavor. I'll definitely go back to try different Bagels and other items.“

“To the reviewer “Seymore Truth” you are a noob. the street is not busy, and it’s not tight backing in. you must deliver to a lot of Costco DCs. I imagine when you finally got the trailer backed in you felt like an amazing super trucker, and gave yourself a pat on the back too 🤣 i do agree the staff is cool, and they get you in and out of here quickly. I wouldn’t arrive too early, you’re most likely not getting into a dock till around appointment time.“

“Man, I'm so hooked on this place! It's a beautiful Sunday Mother's Day afternoon--the lot and drive thru are packed! I ordered my food online for pick-up!! I ordered my usual 2 Chorizó breakfast bagel sandwiches and 2 Nova Lox sandwiches, but this time i also ordered the Farmhouse Breakfast Sandwich and Churro Party Bagel --Everything was fresh and delicious, just like every order I've placed at this location! The crew here is very calm, pleasant and professional, during peak rush times like today(there were 5 or 6 people in line ahead of me plus 3 other people waiting for their order). Although my pick up order wasn't ready because the bagels i originally ordered were already out of stock, they had an even better alternative bagel available (the cheddar jalapeño one) still available, so I had that bagel instead for my 3 breakfast sandwiches, which proved to be a great choice! Anyway, I usually eat my order in my truck in their lot, while everything is still fresh and hot and watch Howard Stern interview videos on SiriusXM, so in a way, the whole thing with not having my original bagel choices available, worked out! With the consistently large number of customers who pack the lot and drive thru every time I come here, plus this location's staying power over the many years it's been in Palatine, it deserves a much higher rating--so that 2 star rating on Yelp.com doesn't appear to be accurate nor believable at all!!“

“Nice atmosphere overall but an unusual layout with the seating in the back out of view from the serving counter. I'm glad they've survived though when most bagel places didn't make it after 2000. The owner is exceptionally friendly.“
