I called and the owner answered, I explained i didn't have a car at the moment and he personally delivered the order himself. “Most days of the week there's something going on at Madcats. My wife and I live in the neighborhood. When the weather is good we walk over. Our favorite is the Blues Jam on the last Sunday of each month. Great food and drinks. Shoutout to Anna and Felix for friendly service as well as Savio and Madcat.“

“The wife and I went back to the old neighborhood to visit somebody at the hospital driving around we found modern plate. We figure we’d give it a try. “Don’t order the short rib mini sandwiches! They were 90 percent fat. When I informed the waitress she indicated that there is always fat on those sandwiches. My sandwich was mostly grizzle and fat. My friend had the same thing but hers at least had some meat.“

We even got a complimentary meal from the Executive Chef so he didn’t waste the plate after taking pictures of his new special. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. There were so many flavors and they all blended so dang well. They even had some unique beer option that we brought home. If your down in the Chicago area or willing to make the trip, it’s definitely worth it“

“We have discovered this place 3 years ago when we are searching for an outdoor casual dining. What we found was a great place that had outdoor seating on a deck patio with umbrellas and a TV set to watch sporting events. The service was friendly, and the food was great. The drinks were very reasonable. The menu was large having everything from sandwiches to dinners. We never had a bad experience there and brought family and friends to enjoy the evening sitting outside. We always come back.“

“My wife and I watched the bears vs packers game. Great atmosphere and fun time watching the game. However, BOTH bathrooms had issues and one urinal overflowed causing a mess. When the game was over and we left, we were blocked in by someone who made up a parking spot in the back of the lot. Multiple people made up spots all over the lot. When I addressed the issue with the front desk and spoke with the manager, they did nothing and said to call the police. It is not up to the customer to manage your property. I thought it was a joke of a response when a concern was raised.“

It is called Meal of the Day and has some great southern cuisine in an establishment on the 4th floor of a business complex overlooking I 290. It is appointed with some great art from notable black artists . There is also a banner from Hales Franciscan Class of 1979 , not sure what that’ s all about .. lol! They also do on site catering and have fed the masses after masses at their home church . Check them out ! My fraternity brother has been telling me for years to make the drive and wifey and I finally did and it was so worth it ! .“
