“I'm going to be honest the wings are usually not very edible they're usually very hard, Even if you ask them not to overcook them they're very dry can barely eat the meat. Very expensive never offered any deals. I paid I think $70 to feed three people“
“The food sounded fancy and tasted SO good! Our server, Andrew, came up with the most delicious drinks! Superb service! We’ll be back!!“
“Absolute amazing experience. We did the tour which cost us 15usd per person and included tasting 3 different beers, already an amazing deal for the money you pay. Chris, our tour guide was very funny and easy to get along with. He deserves a raise for sure, shout out to him. I highly recommend doing the tour if you are visiting Chicago or are a local and trying out the tap room as well!“

“This place rules. Delicious deli style food. The chopped cheese is so good, comparable to one from NYC. I come here just for the chopped cheese but the breakfast sandwiches and other deli sandwiches are excellent as well. Service and staff are friendly and accomodating.“

“my best friend and I just had the BEST experience at the whale! Our waitress taylor was incredible and the manager (so sorry but we never got his name because he was just being so nice to us) was incredible as well. We will definitely return with friends and recommend anyone to try it out! classy, but not snobby, cool decor, warm kind and accommodating staff, and great food and cocktails are just the cherry on top! try the carrot cake after your meal :) Thank you again to taylor and the manager again <3“

“I love this place, they have the best pitas in the city. Hands down. They’ve gone through I think 3 chefs in recent years as our waiter was explaining. But we both had the steak Laffa sand which and fries. 10/10 from both of us. It’s a sandwich I could eat daily. Tbh I feel like they gave too many fries, but they’re still really good, and the mango curry sauce mayo thing they give is unique, punchy and bright. We thought it was a curry mustard but it’s actually a mayo (I think).
We also learned you can buy the pita in bulk which is a game changer.“

“This place is the coolest bar I have been to in a long time, hip and fun but not pretentious. They paid attention to every detail when building and designing. The white marbel bar has clean lines and looks fresh. All of the hardware finishes look sharp and clean. The patio is large and inviting with a fire place and plenty of tables to sit at. The drink menu is creative and refreshing and the staff is kind and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about this gem of a bar. I am excited to hang out this fall on the patio by the fireplace with good drink in My hand.“

“I have gone to Andros Taverna for many years now where I am never disappointed and always impressed with the service, the quality of food and ingredients, the atmosphere and the passion in general. Chef Doug Psaltis is a true expert and artist performing at the highest levels. The gyros are the best, best gyros in Chicago by far, the seafood world class, the homemade bread and pita are incredible. The foods and meats are cooked over wood fire, wood fire grilled. We had our daughters baptism catered from here which was excellent assortment of Greek food - this is a Greek restaurant you will go to for many years to come.“

“We understand why it’s named Gretel… if you’re wondering where Hansel is, he starved to death waiting for his burger. To be fair, it’s one of the best burgers you can get in Chicago BUT you should not come here if you have any other plans that evening. It took 30 minutes longer to be seated than they initially told us (over an hour and a half total). Once we were seated, pretty sure the waiter forgot about us at our table, but it didn’t really matter because the vibes were high 👌🏼 The drinks were great, but consider bringing your own because you’ll grow a five o’clock shadow waiting for your next round. The host, Jonah, was the shining star of the evening and was truly hilarious. But our waitress kept trying to argue that “well” and “well done” were different levels of doneness, so that was annoying (and slightly concerning). Overall, the food was phenomenal, but it was a very slow experience - the antithesis of “fast” food.“

“Go to spot for ice cream in the neighborhood.
A must after any dinner out.
They switch out flavors every month, keeping things interesting, and always have unique options to try.
No indoor seating, only an outdoor area.
Contrary to the name, being a food establishment, no dogs allowed indoors!“

“Honestly, a great bar with good beer. It loses a star because almost every night, one of their bartenders sits outside and very loudly revvs his motorcycle before leaving. I live very close and it is very disturbing. If someone in marketing sees this review please tell him to be more considerate.“

“Amazing place! We're lucky to live walking distance from it, and me and my wife are regulars here. My go-to's are: sausage biscuit, chicken pot pie, s'mores pie, chocolate pecan pie, but you can't really go wrong with anything you order!“

“Best coffee shop in IL, hands down. Pastries on point and rotate often. Espresso is always dialed in excellently. Been coming here since 2022 & never done me wrong, not once. Drew behind the bar has immaculate vibes among his other great baristas! Patio is a great spot too! Love the umbrellas!!!
Cocktails are bomb too, espresso martini & carajillo were awesome! HH from 3-6 has great beer choices!“

“Chilled out hang out place with a fantastic selection of brews. Dogs are welcome indoors too, which is great as the temperature outside gets lower. You could also bring in food from elsewhere. I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood to spend some time outside with your two/four legged friends while sipping some delicious beers!“

“Came in with a friend who had never had boba before. The owner(?) recommended her a flavor and offered to make her a different kind if she didn't like it. She had brown sugar, I had taro, and my wife had a caramel latte boba. All were delicious! We also got the mini pancake bites which were fantastic. The owner(?) was super nice and gave us free water as well. If it wasn't a 40 minute drive for us we would be here all the time!“

“We needed a place to stay close to the Concord music hall, and found the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern. Every element of our stay was thoroughly enjoyable. The menu at the inn was a purposefully short, curated list of bar food, and everything we tried was incredible. The tavern had a great neighborhood feel, and the room we stayed in was well-appointed, and just right for my wife and me. We met the owners within a few moments of arriving, and immediately felt welcomed. I highly recommend the Leavitt St. Inn and Tavern to anyone looking for a hidden gem of a place to stay while visiting Chicago. We can't wait until we travel north again, because we know where we are staying! 5 stars! A++++“

“We hosted a corporate event for around ~150 guests with a full private buyout on a Wednesday, and I can’t say enough good things about the entire team including Pete, Gabriel, Frankie. They were incredible to work with - helpful, responsive, and made everything seamless from start to finish.
We brought in food trucks to the back lot, and their in-house BBQ was also a huge hit. Guests loved pouring their own drafts (such a fun, interactive touch), and we appreciated being able to bring in our own non-alcoholic beverages too.
The space itself is super clean, beautifully laid out, with a great indoor/outdoor flow and close to everything in the West Loop. 10/10 would come back here again - and I’ll definitely be recommending this spot to my clients moving forward!“

“One of the best restaurants and a must try place. Food was authentic South Indian. We tried kothu parotta (yummy) and goat biryani. It was sufficient for two of us. Gulab Jamun was not fresh. Other than that, everything was excellent. I appreciate the team, especially the cook!“

“Hands down some of the best food I've had in Chicago. The charcuterie was a sensation. I had the best chicken Parm I've ever had in my life. I was there before the pearl Jam show, i wish so much I recalled my servers name, a guy who served us for outside seating. He was a delight. He knew his menu, he had great suggestions and was so friendly and professional. Thank you for a wonderful experience!“

“Some of the best grilled seafood in the city and that's saying something. Top 2 in the city along with Dees" IMO. Very seasoned without being salty. My guess is garlic. Crabs are my go-to. The corn, potatoes, and turkey necks are all tasty too.“

“Great atomosphere cool concept like how they call out the alcohol and food orders when Ready. The pimento Mac was great flavor, as was the mashed and gravy. Very unique to have boneless breast thighs wing and leg portions battered and fried. Was very good. I just think the sauces were way to pricey at $1.45 a sauce wow even 99 cents seems a lot but would feel better lol. At least give one with the order or reduce the sauce price. But overall they need to spread this concept into more areas for sure out side like in the suburbs“
“Our second time here. Bartenders are great...friendly and attentive! Last time they were sold out of their whiskey but today we grabbed a bottle of the heated and a bottle of the fernet. New cocktails were really tasty and they mentioned a restaurant will be opening early next year! We will definitely come check it out!“

Kid-friendliness: My kids (14 and 9) have been eating with us here for a couple of years- they’re always excited to go. The Vietnamese travel/cooking shows they have on the background tv are reaal interesring and fun to watch“

“We drove down from Milwaukee. I’ve been wanting to try Tortello since they’ve opened and I found out that they source their eggs from where I get mine (they are the best). Dario was kind, friendly, and extremely engaging. The food was fantastic. We started with Focaccia Ricotta & Honey which was ridiculously good. I had the spaghetti pomodoro which was perfectly balanced sauce to pasta to cheese. My husband had the Cacio e Pepe and devoured it. Our son had the Kids Lumache and ate half (he’s only two) and inhaled the rest tonight. It smelled even better the second time around if that’s possible. Best authentic Italian I’ve had in the States. Felt great after too, not like I’d eaten a pound of pasta. If you aren’t making plans to go sometime soon…you’re missing out!“

“The pho broth, meat, and toppings were very generous and delicious. One issue was I ordered the chicken pho but found chunks of beef intestine and quail egg (?) in my soup, and my friend did too. Very odd. Service was very quick though and the restaurant was quite busy. I had bun bo hue at an earlier date and that was also very authentic and tasty.!“
