“The food is pretty good, I would have liked some kind of translation understand what I’m ordering. The menu is in Spanish, but that’s it. The chips and salsa are delicious and the sandwich I had was also delicious. My company had a burrito and they said it was very good. Beans and rice should be included with the meal, but that’s par for the course of these days. I also wish they were a little more attentive. You bring me my food I shouldn’t have to ask for cutlery.“

“Bagels are some of the best I've ever had. The staff are very pleasant and thorough and consistent. They go that extra step. A simple example is if you get a turkey bagel they don't just slap the meat on. They pull each piece of turkey apart before placing it carefully on the sandwich! An eye for detail!“

“I tried the pan pepperoni pizza at the Armands location over on Western Ave a few weeks back, and it was absolutely fantastic. Just found out there was one in the neighborhood, too, so I ordered from them recently. I ordered a large specialty pizza called the Elmwood Park Special, which came with sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. Showed up at my door about an hour later and dug right into it. It was good! Nice crispy crust and with plenty of toppings spread over generously. I'm gonna try their pan pepperoni next time just to have a solid metric with which to compare quality with their Western Ave location. I'll also probably end up just driving over to pick it up or dine-in next time just to avoid the delivery fee because it came out to like 45 bucks and also to experience the pizza at max freshness.“

“Came to Bloom for my birthday dinner with a couple friends and we were all blown away. Bloom gave me a complimentary ube cheesecake for dessert with a birthday candle, so sweet. We tried a ton of stuff, I think the whipped feta, arrancini, cheese plate, and Besitos de yucca. I didn’t order the Yucca Gnocci before the kitchen closed so I didn’t get to try that but everything we had was amazing. Loved the sangria and birds of a feather cocktails too!“

“I am late writing my review but I had to write it !! I visited provare chicago On july 8th !! From start to finish this restaurant gets 5 starts . The decor was nice and set a perfect atmosphere for a great night . We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 5 minutes of being there . Once seated the wait staff began their introduction's on drinks and popular menu item's. After my party ordered drinks and appetizers a gentleman came over (not sure if he was the manager) and introduce himself and made sure we were having a great experience. Appetizers were amazing!! We couldn't wait for dinner!! Our entrées we just as good if not better ! Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection! When we didn't think the night could get even better the entire wait staff and the gentleman that came over before stopped and recognized my friend for her birthday and brought over a birthday surprise!! I live 307 miles and this place was definitely worth the drive !!!“

“I love this place, they have the best pitas in the city. Hands down. They’ve gone through I think 3 chefs in recent years as our waiter was explaining. But we both had the steak Laffa sand which and fries. 10/10 from both of us. It’s a sandwich I could eat daily. Tbh I feel like they gave too many fries, but they’re still really good, and the mango curry sauce mayo thing they give is unique, punchy and bright. We thought it was a curry mustard but it’s actually a mayo (I think).

We also learned you can buy the pita in bulk which is a game changer.“

We weren't sure what to get, but our server was so helpful in asking what kinds of things we liked and recommending some options he thought we might enjoy. My wife ended up getting the avocado toast (she loved it), and on Trevor's recommendation I tried the Shakshuka. Wow, what flavors! “SBK is everything… the pastries and cookies are so delicious, always a decadent treat. The savory sandwiches, so flavorful with house made sauces in the mix. Weekends start off right with an SBK pizza on a Friday night. I’ve been coming here for years. During Covid, SBK became my local grocery store. One of my favorite establishments in Chicago, I will always be a fan.“
