“This is a standard biker destination. Great place to pull over and relax with a cold drink. Very friendly staff, great view of the river and all the passing river traffic from the outdoor deck. I come here wherever I'm out that way.“

“It is a very cozy and clean place, where you can enjoy sports or games of chance since it has gaming machines, the prices are quite affordable, they have a small menu, with very good flavor, the sandwich we ordered was accompanied by a delicious meat juice, good attention from the bartender, and you can play your music on the jukebox!“

“Low key bar, not a big place but cozy. They have slot machines but no pool tables ? Bartender was very attentive to our needs and came over to chat while I was playing my favorite slot machine, she also enjoyed playing the same game. I know this is random but the Women's bathroom door was the cutest ever. Outside looks like a small cramped but nope. It was surprisingly big and clean“
“Aaron the bartender is great! Thank you! So friendly, so kind. The drinks are super fun / cute, and I especially recommend the pina colada. The service is excellent, the vibe is very cute. Went on a Tuesday night around 9-10:30 - it was quiet which was nice, but livened up towards the end. The drinks could be a bit better which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5 - but I'll absolutely be back :)“

“Great atmosphere a friend of mine dragged me there and even though I am not much of a drinker and wasn't in a drinking mood they manage to warm me up to the idea with a corona on the house and how can I refuse it at that point it was cleared they ware more than just a bar I highly recommend this place great people tending towards customer service.“
“The new owners are great- very nice, ensured customers were all taken care of and happy to get to know and talk to everyone. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but also fun and upbeat! “Been at Big Basin for about 9 years now, love it there. It's the closest to home and the lowest price of the three marina's on this section of the river. I just need a launch ramp and a dock, but have really enjoyed Big Basin. Parking lot gets a tad crowded on the weekends (of course).“
“Met some friends for the Cubs opening day game on one of several television screens. I ordered a half pound burger from Thayer Brothers which is next door. It was prepared perfectly paired with fries and some tasty chicken noodle soup. I was in the mood for a beer on tap and was told they have not had "on tap" for over two years due to the pandemic. I hope they get that situation remedied when I go back.“

“Ummmmm, I do not remember being here. I must have had one hell of a time because I do not remember being here at all. I do not drink too often, so if I was here and did drink, that would explain a lot.I guess I had a great time. I hope I did not cause any trouble. If I did, I apologize. It's those dang Coronas and tequila mixers that do it every time!I hope I kept my clothes on and did not swing from any chandeliers upside down naked.If I did, I made it home safe, and thank you for not calling the police on me. Not many pool tables,about 2-3 its mainly a younger crowd of peeps that head in there.
Bartenders are very friendly as soon as you come inside you are acknowledged 😃

“I liked it, nice clean facility. Nice big bar area, the grill was clean and the lady cook was very nice, i asked for my amburger in a special way and she accommodated me. My oakbrook OTB is my favorite, been going there for years, but nice to try someplace different. Hawthorne club is a great get away to relax and have fun.“

Thank you Lalos, Roula and Ivan for the re-experience of this Chili’s 🌶️ Grill & Bar. They mentioned how much this great restaurant changed their overall customer service to their establishment.
The staff was so attentive and I LOVED the potato 🍟 fries. I forgot the soup but wow 🤩 I was in love. Thank you to the chef and staff of this Chili’s Grill & Bar!

“Four of us from Dwight ate there Thursday night. Everything was outstanding. The pork chops were well seasoned and moist. My veal and smashed sweet potato was to die for. Known her for a long time she love what she does always has a smile on her face. She said she’s only there on Sunday’s? Why I’d like to come to this bar more and she needs more days or evenings.
