“Great place for breakfast“

“I have dreamed of going for as long as I can remember. I love this time period and was so excited to go. This not only checked one bucket list item, but checked 2, as I was able to see a Friesian in real life, my favorite breed, for the first time! I was overcome to tears several times by the beauty, pageantry and joy I witnessed! Everyone should see this at least once in their lives!“

Talk about pizza... the ingredients are fresh and plentiful, cheese just the right texture and amount, crust crispy and satisfying so much so that you can eat 2 (maybe 3 pieces ) and not feel STUFFED! Service was friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is nostalgically comfortable. Our 11 month grandbaebae was happily acknowledged by all waitstaff though they were busily weaving thru the tables with their pizza pies and libations. They offered to take a picture of our group of 6 afterwards, as we were celebrating our son's birthday. On our return home, realizing an item wrapped in a napkin, was left behind and most likely tossed, I called and the owner (Jerry O.) offered to look thru the waste and by the time I returned to the restaurant, seeing him with a smile on his face, I knew he had found it !! That's going the extra mile... hurray to Uncle Jerry and his crew !!“

“My daughter loves this place. I’m trying out the membership however I’m a busy working mom and the hours are not that convenient. Closing at 5pm on a daily basis gives my daughter 0 minutes to maybe an hours at most once a week to play. I wish they were open later til maybe 7 or 8pm would help. I’ll be cancelling our membership“

“Duke is a joy and a blessing. I met him back in 2018 I believe with my mother on a bike stroll and he made it a memorable experience. The delicious BBQ was the icing on the cake. Cooked to perfection.

But what’s more important is just how humble and welcoming Dukes and his team are. I recently came back to visit from Los Angeles and my mother passed…he remembered her when I described our last visit. He was so empathetic and sincere…his energy is just a joy to be around.

“Came for lunch. Very impressed. The katsu don was a nice generous portion with a very large pork cutlet at least half inch thick and done superbly. Not overcooked and tough or soggy as they can get .The oyakodon was similarly scrumptious. Staff pleasant but the server seemed to be working the kitchen also but attentive to us. In strip mall with other businesses. I could see the parking may get tight if all are busy.“

Lots of TVs everywhere, which are high up, (you can still have a conversation with people). We had the crab cake sliders which were different & good. “I haven't been to Alexander's in years and my last experience wasn't a good one. The food wasn't great and the service was terrible. This time was a complete 180° experience! The place has been renovated and looks very nice and very clean (including the very nice restroom). The food and service were, both, wonderful with nice selections on the menu. We went on a weekend, so they had a piano player who was very good. Even the prices weren't the usual "painful" experience of most restaurants. We will, definitely, return. I went because I was told they had improved, considerably, from what I remembered. They have!“

“On a very hot and busy evening, we took the only seats available, outside- the outdoor seating happens to be a beautiful sun room with a nice view. We came in mid dinner rush on a Friday evening and this place was PACKED, so naturally it was a little busy, and the kitchen had a nightmare on their hands to work through. That being said, the food came out a little slow, and without any sort of prompting, or anything, one of the owners (a VERY nice lady) came out and apologized for the wait, then comped our appetizer for coming out after the entrees, and to top it off she threw in a free dessert for the "trouble" which as far as we were concerned wasn't any trouble at all. The product itself was well worth the wait. I personally NEVER finish my entrees at restaurants, and I absolutely destroyed the Caribbean Burger I ordered. SO worth the wait. Portions are great, food quality was awesome, the entire staff was friendly, despite it being so busy and so hot, the whole experience was awesome from walking in, to closing out. 20/10, would absolutely come here again and would recommend this place to anyone who loves a good Midwestern meal with a great atmosphere.“

“Love the atmosphere as soon as we walked in on a Friday late morning. We were sat right away. Coffee was never empty and the food was fast and amazing. This was our first time here but we will be back very soon. Their lemon raspberry crepes were delicious and perfectly balanced. I got the jalapeno omelet with hash and mini waffles. The salsa was extremely spicy (still edible, but I prefer a more mild salsa, especially in a restaurant setting) and the chicken taco which claimed to be spicy, actually wasn't, which I thought was kind of strange. The pico de gallo on my fish taco was also very hot since it contained a lot of jalapeno. Out of the 3 tacos I got the mahi mahi was my favorite.“

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“
