“Walking into Short & Sweet Tasty Treats in Frankfort, Illinois is like stepping into a little corner of candy heaven, lovingly crafted by some seriously hardworking women. The moment you walk in, you can feel the dedication and heart that these ladies pour into every treat.
It’s not just about the delicious candies (which are out of this world, by the way), but the entire experience they create. Each piece of candy feels like it’s been made with a whole lot of love and a dash of that roll-up-your-sleeves determination. You can just tell that these women are giving it their all, and it makes every bite that much sweeter.
I’ve watched as a customer, walking by the shop, and as a passer by. Each morning they make sure doors are clear, decorations are just right and the shop is ready to go. It’s what you would want to see in a small business - love.
So if you’re in the area and want to support a fantastic women-owned business, definitely stop by and treat yourself. You’ll leave with a bag of goodies and a whole lot of appreciation for the passion they put into their craft.“

“So excited to finally make it to Raffy’s and it was great!! I had the turtle ice cream and it was delicious. Love the little pretzel on the top which was unique and actually enhanced that first bite. There was also so much candy to choose from and the decor is so cute! Definitely worth the stop!!“

“My grandkids wanted to go to McDonald's but I talked them into Culver's because of the cheese curds and the custard.
We all had really hot and fresh food. It was delivered to us by Ava who also bussed our table twice. She was so friendly and helpful.

“Stop in today for the first time. Shop is very cute, owner was very helpful and pleasant she let us sample Gelato. We ordered two scoops she recommended which were yummy, also tried Dubai Chocolate. It was my first time having it and it was very good. Workers were making an order of Dubai Chocolate for a client shaped in hearts. I decided I needed them for my wedding and put in a order. They will be a great addition to our sweet table. Great shop, family friendly, great Gelato.“

“This place is so cute! We decided to swing by after our pastor put our WHOLE congregation on the churro sundae. Shoutout to him because it is absolutely delicious! We got ours with the yellow vanilla ice cream and *chef’s kiss* We didn’t know this was connected to an actual Mexican restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the chicken and steak tacos. Would recommend!“

“I love visiting Raffy's with my kids. We usually hit up the used toy store down the plaza and then come here for ice cream and pick a mix candy. The buttercream chocolates are my favorite indulgence. They have the cutest seasonal candies too!“

“Buying ice cream at Baskin Robbins or any other ice cream places is way better than chasing the ice cream truck for ice cream, and it's an indoor dining with heating and cooling systems installed so you guys won't close for the winter like outdoor dining restaurants such as Dairy Queen in Lockport or Romeoville does. Eggnog ice cream is my favorite thing every time at christmas“

“I have been to this location a few times now, and the food is always out quick, hot, and fresh! The new building is nice and is a great addition to the area. My one and only complaint is that every time I do a mobile order they don’t give me any napkins. However, seeing as this is seeming to become the new industry standard it’s hard to fault them too hard for that.“

“I left a five star review here several months back because I had an exceptional experience! I was excited to come back and I was kind of curious if we would have the same stellar experience, and we did! It was amazing. Me and my husband had so fun much at Color Me Mine, and then we caught a movie after at Emagine. So many fun things in this little strip. Highly recommend!“
