“My first visit to Inovasi and it did not disappoint! Our server Lucia was fantastic- knowledgeable friendly and she helped me find just the right cocktail! We started with their delicious bread, and then had the crispy pork belly for appetizer. For entree we had a filet with shaved truffles and a blackened cod with lime and whipped edamame. Both were superb as was the dessert of flourless chocolate cake with raspberry purée and shipped goats cheese, and a pumpkin cheesecake. All was delicious, and the ambiance and decor was warm and inviting. We will be back!”

Our server (or maybe the manager) noticed we might need a phone stand and brought one to us without even being asked — such a thoughtful gesture! “We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. Prices were very reasonable and our service was exceptional. Excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend.”

“Highly recommend trying Merienda’s. I went there based on a recommendation from a friend. Loved the vibe, mom/pop, cute restaurant, with a lot of delicious options. Tried the spicy shrimp with garlic rice, pancit, ube latte with oat milk, pink calamansi lemonade, & mango cheesecake. Delicious! Will definitely go back to try other dishes. Very reasonably priced for the portion size. The guy at the register was friendly & enthusiastic with helping us select our entree.”

“Everything I’ve tried so far has been amazing! Fresh ingredients, clean establishment, and friendly staff. The steak and chicken Philly and burgers are my go to but the gyros are amazing as well. The fries are addicting! Give em a try and I’m willing to bet you’ll be a regular.”
