“My first visit to Inovasi and it did not disappoint! Our server Lucia was fantastic- knowledgeable friendly and she helped me find just the right cocktail! We started with their delicious bread, and then had the crispy pork belly for appetizer. For entree we had a filet with shaved truffles and a blackened cod with lime and whipped edamame. Both were superb as was the dessert of flourless chocolate cake with raspberry purée and shipped goats cheese, and a pumpkin cheesecake. All was delicious, and the ambiance and decor was warm and inviting. We will be back!”

Our server (or maybe the manager) noticed we might need a phone stand and brought one to us without even being asked — such a thoughtful gesture! “After a few hours at Volo Auto Museum we decided to explore the area and head over to the lake. Driving through Waukegan, we stopped into Papa Marcos Grill and Kabob.\n\nWhat a gem. We stepped up near the counter to read the menu and soon enough it was our turn to order. We started chatting with the owner's wife and she is so nice and so friendly. Offered recommendations and we settled on our choices. Fried mushrooms to start and I ordered the Vegetarian plate, with Falafel, rice stuffed grape leaves and rice. Mr. Bee had the lamb plate. The mushrooms were amazing, nice and crunchy without being greasy. Both of us loved our plates and the fresh naan bread. Our lunch even came with two small pieces of Baklava that was perfect. The best Baklava we ever had was actually in Greece and this one was right up there with it.\n\nThe food is fresh and light and delicious. From the front of the restaurant you don't expect much, but once inside you feel if you are stepping into Greece with excellent Mediterranean food.\n\nWhat a treasure!”

“The Marysville Taco Pros is always a great experience. We eat there weekly and we have never had a bad experience. It's the highlight of our week. Food is fresh, not loaded with salt, and the tortilla shells are delicious. Definitely a great addition to Marysville!”

“We live 2.5 hours south of Lake Villa, but we were meeting some friends from Florida for dinner. They were in the area for their grandson’s graduation from Great Lakes Naval Academy. Found this place via Google and it had great reviews, with good reason. We wish we lived closer because it would be a favorite for sure. Probably the best bruschetta and lasagna I’ve had in a very long time. Everyone loved their entrees. We tried multiple pasta dishes and the pizza. Prices were very reasonable and our service was exceptional. Excellent dining experience all around. Highly recommend.”

“Highly recommend trying Merienda’s. I went there based on a recommendation from a friend. Loved the vibe, mom/pop, cute restaurant, with a lot of delicious options. Tried the spicy shrimp with garlic rice, pancit, ube latte with oat milk, pink calamansi lemonade, & mango cheesecake. Delicious! Will definitely go back to try other dishes.
