First off, the vibe is awesome. The building has a cozy, rustic look with tons of warm wood and soft lighting. Its big enough to feel lively but still has that tucked-away, hidden gem feel. If the weathers good, grab a table outside the patio is beautiful and perfect for a long evening of hanging out.

The food? Totally hits the spot. Their smoked meats and sandwiches are next-level, and the sides arent just filler everything is fresh and full of flavor. The appetizers are great for sharing (bacon-fat popcorn is a must-try), and the entrees come in generous portions thatll actually fill you up.

Drinks are another win. They keep a solid craft beer list and pour some excellent cocktails. The bartenders know their stuff and are happy to help you find something new.

“We live 2 hours north and were in town for a Band Competition, we stopped in to eat. Our server Jordan was fabulous. With it being our first time there the manager sent us some free deviled eggs to sample! Highly recommend the deviled eggs, so tasty! They were a little busy with several parties and took a little longer to get our food but our server was attentive and apologetic for the wait. We were not mad or upset about the wait, totally understand when it’s busy. The manager gave us a free dessert for the wait. The customer service is top notch and they seem to care about the customers. And a plus that the food is delicious!!!! Highly recommend!! We will def be back!“

“I order from this place specifically despite having several Chinese restaurants that are closer. The fried rice is the best I've had. The orange, bourbon, and general tsos chicken are all really good. They also work with people to make specialized orders. For example I am allergic to wheat and can't eat the breaded chicken. They make mine without the breading so that I can order the things I really want. I highly recommend.“

Not over breaded and cooked to the outer crisp/ inner tender that made chewing a pleasure. The other specials were $5 steak tacos (also very good), and $12
chimichanga. My son got one of those and it looked great. Their side salads are always good. I particularly appreciate the finely chopped tomato bits. The waitress forgot us for an extended bit, so not perfect service, but she was pleasant and was attentive going forward when she realized we hadn't gotten our food.“

“This place is a hidden gem in Edwardsville. The food at this place is phenomenal and the portion sizes are very generous. They always make the food hot and fresh. They always throw in a few new things for me to try as well. The chicken tikka masala and chili chicken are my favs. The staff are the kindest people I have ever interacted with at a restaurant. “I’ve been here before and in the past the service wasn’t the best — I often felt like I was being met with an attitude and even charged extra for sweet and sour sauce when ordering multiple boxes of rice.

This time was a completely different experience. The rice was delicious, the service was great, and the lady who helped me was kind, polite, and even gave me extra sauce without hesitation. I ordered shrimp fried rice and it was excellent.
