We even got a complimentary meal from the Executive Chef so he didn’t waste the plate after taking pictures of his new special. To say the food was amazing is an understatement. There were so many flavors and they all blended so dang well. They even had some unique beer option that we brought home. If your down in the Chicago area or willing to make the trip, it’s definitely worth it“

“We love Five O Four. Their brunch is served from 8 AM until 3 PM and they do a fantastic job. The food quality is excellent. Our favorite meal is breakfast and they do it so well. We have yet to eat here for dinner, but the menu looks great. They’re open evenings from 5 to 8 or 10 weekends.“

“Brewpoint is a gem in the Western suburbs of Chicago. I am entirely blessed to live blocks from their craft location on York. Exposed brick, chandeliers, and a plant wall surrounds you - a grateful reprieve from cookie cutter Starbucks decor. Coffee, matcha, and baked goods are top notch (haven't tried cocktails or charcuterie yet). A wonderful mix of professionals, college students, community organizers, and socially conscious suburban moms escaping the kids (I'm sure I'm missing wonderful others). Sometimes I'm not sure how I manage to keep living in the suburbs when the city is still home for me after 10 years in Elmhurst, but Brewpoint certainly makes it easier.“

“Our server, Dee(?), was amazing! Great recommendations and she anticipated all of our needs. The food was top notch, as well. Started with the flaming cheese fondue served with fresh focaccia bread. Yum! I had the Surf and Turf and my husband had the Grouper. Both were perfectly prepared and the sides were delicious. Cocktails were fantastic and their Bourbon choices were great for an after dinner pour. We finished with their blueberry cheesecake and devoured every crumb! It was our Anniversary and they even poured us a toast! We will be back!“

“This hotel is perfectly located roughly equidistant between O’Hare and Wrigley. Depending on the time and day, you can get a very reasonably-priced Uber ride to either location. It is also within walking distance of several great restaurants. Le Meridian is clean and modern, and in a very safe area. Our room on the second floor was also very clean and modern. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downsides: no free coffee in the morning, a bit noisy at night, and the mattress is so comfortable, it makes me realize how uncomfortable my mattress is at home!“

It's usually pretty easy to get a table, the staff is helpful with recommendations and I love the "secret" feel of it. I recommend it to anyone who wants a night out without a long line or wait. “I had made a reservation for what I thought was Water's Edge, but it turns out it was the Hyatt Lodge restaurant. Apparently, they share the same space, but Water's Edge only serves lunch. That was a bit confusing, especially since no employee was there to greet and seat us. So be aware of that. There were only two waiters, which was fine since it was not very crowded, but it took a few minutes before either of them acknowledged our presence. After that all went well. The food was delicious, waiter service was fine, and dining on the outside patio by the small lake was quite nice on a perfect weather day. A table umbrella to shade us from the sun would have been nice, though. I will definitely dine there again.“

“We were in town for a basketball tournament, with a group of 22, and their staff accommodated our entire group! From the hostess, to our waitress, to whom I believe was the manager (tall gentleman), they were fantastic! The food, was delicious!!! Serving sizes were generous and their drinks were great as well.
