“All I know is that the food is so good that I have been here 3 times since it opened (Which has been less then 6 months). I know I should branch out and try the other offerings but I just really love the Tori Paitan and will be back more when the cooler weather is fully settled in.
I also sincerely appreciate that there are good non-alcoholic mixed drinks, because sometimes someone just wants a fun mixed drink but none of the alcohol and there's quite a few options here- expanded even from the menu pictured on Google. There's a really good Yuzu based drink that I also keep getting that is my favorite.
The atmosphere is higher end but not pretentious, and cozy while still being open.

I look forward to bringing more of my friends here.

Parking: Fair amount of parking but it's in a strip mall with other restaurants so you're not always able to find a spot immediately. There's usually more parking in the back”

“Last Friday evening ( Oct 17, 2025 ) I came in with my 2 sons - we are regulars at the Glenview Yardhouse for years now - we are always treated so kindly , my sons and I Love The Atmosphere, The food is always just The Best - my sons are always asking me when are we driving back down to The Yardhouse in Glenview :)) The music selection is So Awesome also ! The server Matt took care of us last Friday and he was So Kind Always !!!!!!! My sons Love The Cheeseburgers and Hanging Bavarian Pretzels, the Calamari, the Mac and Cheese , the Orange chicken and Jasmine rice , the loaded pepperoni pizza and the desserts !!! We always leave with lots and lots of leftovers :))”

“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit here and our friends will be back sooner. Great food!!!!”

I must have called 6 times changing the number of people and requesting a round table and they were so patient and accommodating. I'm sorry I don't remember the names I spoke with on the phone but they were wonderful. Our server Miguel was great, we wanted for nothing and the room we were in was outstanding. We all had an excellent time I could not have been happier!!”

I would LOVE to see a milder version of the Taiwan Ramen (or at least a way to adjust the heat, like the Spicy Miso), because the flavor was truly amazing and addictive.”

They make there omelets a special Way comes out poofy and huge filled with cheese! It's hands down one of my favorite breakfast restaurant in north Chicagoland area. Every time I bring people from out of town they love it! 100% recommend!”

“We have been going to Chinatown Kitchen since their kids were little and now they are in college. The food has always been fresh and delicious. Takeout area always clean and you can see an area of kitchen same way. We have certain preferences that we do not want put into the food and we are very happy the results and the tastes.
