“All I know is that the food is so good that I have been here 3 times since it opened (Which has been less then 6 months). I know I should branch out and try the other offerings but I just really love the Tori Paitan and will be back more when the cooler weather is fully settled in.
I also sincerely appreciate that there are good non-alcoholic mixed drinks, because sometimes someone just wants a fun mixed drink but none of the alcohol and there's quite a few options here- expanded even from the menu pictured on Google. There's a really good Yuzu based drink that I also keep getting that is my favorite.
The atmosphere is higher end but not pretentious, and cozy while still being open.

I look forward to bringing more of my friends here.

Parking: Fair amount of parking but it's in a strip mall with other restaurants so you're not always able to find a spot immediately. There's usually more parking in the back”

“Last Friday evening ( Oct 17, 2025 ) I came in with my 2 sons - we are regulars at the Glenview Yardhouse for years now - we are always treated so kindly , my sons and I Love The Atmosphere, The food is always just The Best - my sons are always asking me when are we driving back down to The Yardhouse in Glenview :)) The music selection is So Awesome also ! The server Matt took care of us last Friday and he was So Kind Always !!!!!!! My sons Love The Cheeseburgers and Hanging Bavarian Pretzels, the Calamari, the Mac and Cheese , the Orange chicken and Jasmine rice , the loaded pepperoni pizza and the desserts !!! We always leave with lots and lots of leftovers :))”

“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit here and our friends will be back sooner. Great food!!!!”

I must have called 6 times changing the number of people and requesting a round table and they were so patient and accommodating. I'm sorry I don't remember the names I spoke with on the phone but they were wonderful. Our server Miguel was great, we wanted for nothing and the room we were in was outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet, the dousing of powdered sugar not too thick and the texture fairly homogenous, which is a nice moderation after a big meal. salad had a great variety of vegetables and honestly I'd come here just for that. but my favorite part was the pizza. I got mushroom and black olive thin crust pizza. the sauce was lovely, smelled great too. they actually put the mushroom under the cheese, like civilized people, and not on top like the chains do. that way the mushroom juices actually absorb into the sauce and cheese, harmonizing the flavor compounds, instead of evaporating and feeling separated. why order mushroom if you do not love it enough to embrace its essense in abundance? why bother if only to just barely keep grasp on its form as a skeleton? service was great, appropriately timed and nice people.”

“Man I love Walker Brothers! it's a Beautiful old school breakfast joint with the freshest of ingredients, great service, delicious food. Omelets, apple pancakes, German pancakes, French toast. Doesn't matter what you order all is good. Coffee is good and fresh and plentiful. This time I got Santa Fe egg white omelette. They make there omelets a special Way comes out poofy and huge filled with cheese! It's hands down one of my favorite breakfast restaurant in north Chicagoland area. Every time I bring people from out of town they love it! 100% recommend!”

Miso Ramen and Taiwan Ramen are fantastic, but beware that single pepper icon, because it’s no joke! (And I say this as someone who grew up eating spicy food 🙂) Delicious, but intense! I would LOVE to see a milder version of the Taiwan Ramen (or at least a way to adjust the heat, like the Spicy Miso), because the flavor was truly amazing and addictive.”

They have Taiwanese mai fun that are one of the best I've tried! Their egg foo young is savory and full of veggies! Beef chow fun is delicious! I can go on and on!
