“My favorite brewery! Really friendly service, and delicious fresh cold brews from the refreshing Grapefruit Raddler, smooth layers, to darker, stronger and different beers for any taste.

The smattering of food is great from sharing a pizza with friends to noshing a soft pretzel on your own pizza (really though, big enough for a 4 person snack).

The outside area is bigger every year and a great place to meet people!

And Spiteful is a great neighbor. They are always supporting Bowmanville and the surrounding area.“

“We recently attended an engagement party at Goldie’s. The party was originally scheduled as an outdoor event but was forced to go inside at the last minute. Goldie’s ownership allowed the party to use their location, opened early and provided bar service for all attendees. All with less than 24 hours notice! Claire, the bartender, came in early and was exceptional. Highly recommend for special events or to just stop in for a drink!“

They clearly care about the acoustics at Audiotree, and you can very cleanly hear everything any given band plays or sings. “I ate an early lunch, so it was really quiet.The food was fantastic. Bacon Wrapped dates are tasty and had a sauce that really complemented the dish. The Chicken Lady Pizza was excellent. Caramelized onions definitely gave the flavor a pop. It was too early for me to drink, but I was impressed by their bar selection (especially Irish whiskey).“

“I won't rate the food because it's only snacks. They do have menus from nearby restaurants though, which is really cool.

This is a wonderful cocktail bar. The bartenders are really good at what they do. I think Luke is usually working when I go there? He is really good at what he does and super fun to watch. Very precise and intentional with the way he makes drinks.

I always feel very welcome and relaxed here. It is sort of strange that it is in the base of an apartment complex. I think if I lived here I would be a bit weirded out by all of these strangers in the lobby of my building.

It's nice to get drinks and then go wherever in the lobby, at the bar, or out in the back patio area of the building.

Trivia on Wednesdays is always fun as well.“

“I usually stop here since it's on my mail route and I can tell you that they have great food and great drinks I had their buttermilk chicken sandwich with portage park tater tots and it was very good I highly recommend this spot espically for happy hour also the staff is amazing they always make me feel welcome“

“Such an amazing spot! A great addition to the neighborhood! The service is amazing, everyone who works here is so friendly, kind and attentive. The food is great (the santi spring rolls is a hit on the salty side however). This spot is not just great as a local spot, but also worth a trip. The outdoor patio area is so nice and has music and indoors, there’s a really charming atmosphere with a fireplace. Love it!“

“The penultimate neighborhood bar with plenty of characters, shenanigans, and fun! It's our "Just One More" place. Bikers, Rock Stars, and Divas will feel right at home. Live music most weekends, outdoors in the summer in a large parking lot. Everybody who knows, goes there. John & Sparklyn are good people!“

“We just recently held a karaoke party here at Shakers for my wife’s 30th birthday party! It could not have been a better experience, everyone had an excellent time. Mark made planning the event painless, quick, and easy. The entire staff was very friendly and accomodating. Mark and Bonnie did an incredible job bartending all night for us, and the Karaoke DJ, Sierra, was amazing as well. Would definitely recommend Shakers for any future Karaoke parties you may want to plan!“

“We went in after a miserable day. We were weary and super hungry. The Pony was just the right medicine. Big kudos to our bartender who took great care of us. I had two Anti Heroes-there was a sheen of ice on the top of the beer which is just exactly how beer should be served. Our waffle fries nachos plate was huge. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and tater tots which was equally delicious. We went in around 5pm which is why I gave only four stars for atmosphere there weren't many people around. “Review Update: I was at Gannon's yesterday afternoon and we were there around shift change. Both bartenders were fantastic! This time we decided to try eating something here, and ordered the avocado BLT and the fish and chips. The sandwich was solid, the fish was great, but what stood out to me was the fries. I told the bartender/server that the fries were killer, and he said some people just come in and order fries cause they are so good. I believe it! Truly, these are the best fries on Lincoln Ave from Irving to at least Bryn Mawr. I hope to be back soon to get a beer and a side of fries, from the prompt and friendly staff, in this unpretentious gem of an establishment.“
