“This is an exclusively take-out restaurant; no inside dining. This was my first visit and I am very happy. The chicken fried rice was a bit cheap on the meat, but the beef-broccoli chow fun was enormous and featured a ton of meat which more than compensated for the fried rice. Both portions were quite large and serve me for two dinners.“

“This is a takeout-only spot, as all the tables and chairs have been removed. That said, I really enjoyed the food. You can tell it was prepared with care, and the quality exceeded my expectations, especially given some of the mixed reviews. The ingredients were fresh, and the food was served piping hot, which made for a great meal.“

The food is both fresh and well prepared; the wait staff are friendly and accommodating, this little eating establishment is clean, quiet and a lot of very convenient parking. “We order from here from time to time. We like the consistency and good taste. My family was out and I was on my own recovering from a surgery and felt like treating myself so I figured “ let’s get a bit fancy and order PF Chang”. What a huge mistake that was. The beef with Broccoli had les than 2 oz of beef for $30. I have included a comparison between Hunan Palace’s beef with vegetables vs what I received from PF. Hunan Palace blows PF away! Additional I have had very good luck requesting modifications, I like extra spicy and extra sauce, Human honored my request while PF did not. I think the pics tell all“

“I’m from the city and haven’t found a Chinese spot in the suburbs until now. The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a big smile from the woman preparing my carry out order. The pork fried rice was great! It was well seasoned and had a generous amount of pork in it. The portions were exactly what you expect for the price you pay. Very satisfied.“

“This is some of the best Chinese food I’ve had. From eggrolls to fried rice, the quality is great! Tastes fresh, portions are reasonable and how long it takes to receive your order is prompt. I can’t even take a picture of the food because I ate it all, it smelled so good. If you want fast, fresh and savory food, def come here! You barely need soy sauce and the food is so warm, very comforting. Thankful for their speedy service and active listening“

“I stopped in here while my rental car was charging and OMG 10/10 recommend. The teriyaki chicken was amazing and great value for the price. The egg drop soup soothed my very soul!

“I was at the Genesee theater, watching “The Nutcracker” and after the show ended, I decided to get a bite somewhere nearby. that’s when I stumbled upon China Garden Restaurant! luckily there was no line they took my order within seconds and the food came out within minutes. The lady who took my order was very nice and patient with me since it was my first time there. It was really delicious!!!! I had number #10 - the chicken and broccoli (pictured below) .“

“Excellent prices for Lunch Specials. I started going here during the pandemic. I compared Egg Foo Yung at four or five restaurants in the area, and to my surprise, China Chef was the best, and I have been picking up lunch here at least twice a month ever since.“

“I ordered the Dragon & Phoenix dish for takeout. The description sounded great: fresh shrimp, chunks of chicken, bok choy, mushrooms, snow pea pods, water chestnuts, and bamboo shoots. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t live up to the expectations.

The biggest issue was the chicken. It was dry, tough, and tasted like it had been cooked a long time ago and just reheated. It was very unpleasant to chew and really took away from the dish. The shrimp, on the other hand, were good — fresh and tender. Most of the vegetables were also fine.

However, the dish was missing two of the listed ingredients: bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Their absence noticeably affected the texture and overall experience.

This dish could have been delicious, but the poor quality chicken and missing ingredients really ruined it. I hope more attention is paid to preparation and order accuracy in the future.“

“I've been trying local places around. So far this is my favorite Chinese. I will say, i was hesitant to try due to the prices. I'm can be very cheap at times. But the food looked good in the pictures and the restaurant has been in business for 50+ years so i decided to give in a try last week. I ordered the chicken and broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, pork egg foo yung, pot stickers and crab ragoon. When i tried that pot sticker, it was the most delicious pot sticker i have ever eaten. And the egg foo young, delicious! Tasty flavorful sauce and the patty texture, egg to bean sprout and meat ratio, and taste was perfect! I have been searching for that consistency in an egg foo young for years and finally found it here. The other dishes were delicious as well. I requested for the chicken and broccoli to be in white sauce. Yum! It was worth every penny. Take my money please! I came back again today. I had to. I got the chicken egg foo young and more pot stickers. An order for myself and one for my husband. He loves the pot stickers as well. While i was there both times, i saw a lot of people come in to dine in and get drinks. Seems like a very chill environment to come have some food and drinks with friends. I am very satisfied with this restaurant. It has been a royal experience. Hope they stay open for the next 50 years!“

“Sweet & Sour Chicken has the classic flavors, big portion of 14 pieces. Egg roll is large in size and delicious, with peanut butter flavor, included with the $10.75 price + a massive portion of pork fried rice is very tasty, easily 2 meals worth of food. Good crunch chicken batter and egg roll. Best quality and value for the price, I will order from them again, a new favorite.“

“They didn’t have the meats I wanted but were adamant that it was going to be only a couple minutes. They were very friendly when talking to us so we stayed and waited. For some reason these were the two best tasting meats I’ve had at panda. We go a lot, so this is saying a lot. Might just have been the freshness from coming right off the kitchen, but it was fantastic.“
