“Don't care for the burnt taste that wood fired pizza has. Other than that. all food on their menu is very good. Have had their salads, sandwiches, meat ball and spaghetti, tortellini and other items that were all very good. Their home made deserts are wonderful. Their side room would be great for small gatherings. Service was excellent.“

“I would like to give them a higher rating to be honest. The only problem is they let different cooks use their own recipes. It can lead to them offering something on the menu and the chef not knowing how to cook the dish.Years ago I took my children's mother there on a date night after not having an opportunity to spend any time together; and after ordering one of her favorite dishes pasta con broccoli and receiving something that was obviously not that type a pasta but something but something that was made by somebody that did't know what it was, I had to deal with her being upset and console her because she was looking forward to the meal. It wasn't long after that we both learned how to cook it.It's definitely true that the smallest thing can change your taste pretty drastically when it comes to the white sauce.I plan on visiting there soon and hopefully finding something positive to say in an update of this review m“

“Always a good meal here. Rustic atmosphere simple menu, but everything is prepared to meet St. Louis Hill Italian standards. Neopolitan style pizza, bread and olive oil. Great house wine value, also good selection of wines by the bottle.UPDATE: This is one of our favorite restaurants in Edwardsville. It hits the sweet spot of consistently excellent Italian food without pretension or fuss. The service is always great. I don’t hesitate to take my St. Louis friends here. I know they will love it, too.“

“The atmosphere and service are stellar! I dine in on occasion, but regularly do carry out. The cajun chicken pasta is my absolute favorite. While I don't think the carry out portions are the same as the in-house portions, it could just be plating magic that makes it appear to be a bigger portion. Sit on the patio if given the chance. ❤️“
