The atmosphere was inviting with gas lit wall lights, a center bar with booths and high tops. Autumn was a wonderful server. She was so pleasant and informative. We really enjoyed having her as our server. Happy hour is from 4 to 6. We tried the fried meatballs, which were great. The lemon ravioli and the shrimp pasta dish were both delicious. Prices were reasonable. When you dine, the food taste and quality are top priority, but when the food is phenomenal and the service and atmosphere are just as good, it makes the experience memorable. We ended up returning on our second night! Julie was our server and we really enjoyed her, too. She was helpful and interested in our satisfaction! We tried the Brussel sprouts, an heirloom salad with delicious bread. Our entrees were the butcher steak and the burger. The steak was wood fired and super tender! The burger was delicious. “Massa's is a great old-school St. Louis style Italian restaurant, but a cut above many others in St. Charles County. We've gotten some great options recently and over the years, but Massa's is a staple. I love that they have other menu items that you can't find anywhere else. Their mussels and Parmesan crusted whitefish are two of my absolute favorites. I also love that they add pimento to their house salad although they dress it very heavily so I recommend asking for the dressing on the side. I also would prefer that the bread would come out warm, but it is good bread and they provide real butter. A+ There is a decent sized patio and they allow dogs and smoking so please keep that in mind. The only drawback to the patio is that it sits right in front of the parking lot so you have a great view of cars. LOL!“

He was friendly, accommodating, very knowledgeable of menu items, professional and willing to assist should diners want assistance. Shawn is an absolute "Pro"! It is STL style but you can also order the "thicker" option. I preferred the regular thin crust option. The crust was a bit charred for my preference but still good. I especially want to first recognize our wonderful server Alecia (Alesha? didn't get the spelling of her name unfortunately) She was such a positive, efficient delight and is a valuable asset to the restaurant. We started with charbroiled oysters that were delicious and I then got the wedge salad which was huge and very flavorful. My husband had a filet with Bearnaise sauce and I had the scallops served over peas and mushrooms - omgosh!! Hubby's filet was cooked perfectly as well and very flavorful and served with a huge loaded baked potato that he couldn't finish but tasted great. Both salads were fresh and the breadsticks were delicious. My recommendation on the lasagna is add more meat. The ratios didn’t taste right.“
