“The food is good but expensive. However, the sushi rice is usually just old white rice. If I was eating in restaurant, I would send my food back for what I actually ordered, but it's delivered so ?‍♀️The boba tea is actually even more expensive than listed, because you're required to choose a boba type for an extra $1+. “Today (Sunday, 1/29), was my 3rd time here! Great visit! I ordered the Ultimate Ace Milk Tea; it was really good —loved its honey flavor and smooth milkiness! The previous times i came here—Saturday 1/21 and Sunday, 1/22---were both great, too! On Saturday, I had the Dragonball Tea; on Sunday, the Grapefruit Lychee Jelly Tea--I'd definitely order both again! I haven't been to a tea house in about 6 or 7 years when I used to make the schlep to Highland Park to Billy Corgan's tea house, Madame Zuzu's! Umbrella Tea House is, so far, the absolute best I've ever been to (closer to home, not as pricey, better ambience, younger/more interesting clientele)! The tea selection is huge and interesting, the ambience is hip and surreal (loved the beautiful, trippy, lit up enchanted forest decor inside, plus the small comfy couch seating in the back, along with all the anime figures on the counter...So very COOL!!! The employees who work here are professional, knowledgeable, and efficient! Last, the clientele here is young, diverse and very cool without any pretension--I hung out for 2 hours each visit, loving my awesomely flavorful, relaxing tea and digging the surreal, chilled out vibe of the place and the atom collider of Millennial/Gen Z-ers who flooded the place after I came in each time! You could people watch all day! The first time I came in, a young dude with a long denim dress came in! Today, 4 Pakistani dudes with long black beards in traditional gown-like outfits came in! It was all too cool to see such diversity in 1 spot each time! Definitely coming back a few million more times!!“

“The boba here is the best boba out of any place in the western suburbs. I have tried several places in Oakbrook, Bloomingdale, Lisle and none have the freshness and consistency of the boba here. In addition, I have found them to also be the BEST PRICE and highest quality. My fiancé and I come here once a month at least and more in the warmer weather. Can’t go wrong with the pink flamingo drink with 50% sugar and brown sugar tapioca. Wish they had a rewards program :)“

“Neighbor family here and we’ve been multiple times during the soft opening and have loved it! My son and I love the brown sugar tea. And my little one can’t get enough of the donuts. They’re not your typical donut so don’t expect that. They’re sooo much better. They are a bit pricy but that’s expected: donuts are hand rolled! Totally plan on returning multiple times! Great addition to our neighborhood!“

“Found Babam this evening just walking around downtown Wheaton. It was such a wonderful discovery! The owner spoke with us for quite a while, and since it was our first visit she made a suggestion. Though most people order cold bubble teas, we were looking for something hot. We went with the pumpkin pie chai, and it was crazy good! They also have Japanese-inspired baked goods. Highly recommend, really fun place.“

“I decided to come here since it was one of the places that closes late. We were the only customers when we walked in. Employee was friendly and she greeted us. Just to clarify, it was only one person doing everything. It seemed like after we ordered, that’s when people started coming in one after the other. Then there was a huge group that came in. The “slow service” I let it slide since she didn’t know there was going to be an inundation of customers pouring in. You know those clown cars where 20 clowns come out, yeah it seemed like that. I got the lychee milk tea with golden boba and an egg waffle with ice cream. I ordered 50% sugar. The drink itself was decent, not too sweet which I like. I do wish the golden boba was a little less chewy. They also didn’t have the tofu pudding that I wanted. Egg waffle was crispy, warm, and soft. The ice cream was Oreo. Other than that, they had an adequate amount of tables. That’s assuming you don’t have the clown cars with 20 kids coming out of it. Prices were fair. Place was clean when we first walked in, not sure about after we left.“

“I still love this place, but I’ve come here the last three weeks at around 2:45pm on Tuesdays, and it’s been closed even though their hours on the door say that they should be open. It’s very disappointing and they should probably edit their hours.I bought the brown sugar milk tea as well as the Thai milk tea with boba and both were amazing! The employees were also very friendly and the shop offers a wide variety of options!“

“I ordered the matcha donut and the dalgona matcha bubble tea. The donut was very fresh and quite tasty! The bubble tea, however, was not as good as other drinks I've had. The matcha tea tasted mostly like milk with barely any matcha flavor or sweetness.“

“Excellent, fresh food. Love Chinese food and have had it in Chinatowns, downtown and suburbs. Ordered the Singapore noodle lunch special. Not always made well at other restaurants.But here the entire noodle dish was excellent. They did not skimp on shrimp, veg or eggs. The spice level was good and matched requested level. Good curry taste without overwhelming. The pork eggroll was also tasty as was the sweet dipping sauce. Even the ubiquitous fortune cookie was fresh.Only thing was the person who took my order said soup was included with take out. It wasn't. Oh, well. In line with most other places that offer soup for dine in only.Other than that try this place. It's really good IMO. They close early, at 8:30pm and are closed Tue.“

“Came here in the middle of the day during a weekday, so it was pretty empty. That also mean we got served very quickly. The store had a cute wall and seating along the wall, but no tables. So it might be a little awkward if you have a large group. The drinks were pretty good though, we got the brown sugar milk tea everything was decent. Definitely not the best boba I've had, but the pearls were decently chewy and the flavor was decently good. My friend enjoyed his smoothie as well. Overall a pretty solid boba place. “My son and I came in to try Bubble Tea for the first time. Since we weren't sure what to get, the young woman at the register helped us out. She was very pleasant and friendly. And we LOVED our milk teas! My son loved it so much he asked if we could go back tonight to get another mango milk tea w/ bursting mango bobas. “I love the popcorn chicken and fries. I wasn't a fan of big bird. Sauce is good but chicken was a bit too much on the burger. I like it when the Pattys are thinner. Sauce is amazing here and I like the atmosphere but it seems a bit small and hard to find seats here. I think they could improve seating and decorations a bit. Service was good.“
