“I grew up in this neighborhood and started eating this pizza in the 70's. Geneo's wouldn't be around if it wasn't great pizza! I can't wait to be back in the old neighborhood, stopping at Geneo's is a must.“

“My husband Jack and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary tonight, and on a last minute whim he chose Bella Mia. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of phenomenal, and I had to write this review immediately. The moment we walked in, we were greeted not only by the host and hostess, but also by several staff members and even guests at the bar. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, welcoming, and incredibly friendly. Pure class. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and perfectly accented with soft candlelight, making the evening feel special and intimate. We sat at the bar and were welcomed by Gina, the bartender, who was extremely attentive and genuinely kind, making us feel right at home. The food was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. The owner, Randy, came by to greet us and his personality was truly infectious. He had us laughing nonstop and made our night even more memorable. We also had the pleasure of sitting next to Marcy and Dick, regulars who have been coming since day one. Even though this was our very first visit, we felt like part of the Bella Mia family. “In 2017, I picked up my older brother at Midway to come home to the funeral of our youngest brother that committed suicide at 23 yers old. We swung over to Vito and Nick's to get a pizza and talk. It was our first time there. We ended up telling the waitress the situation because we had both been crying. Next thing we know, the kitchen had par-baked like 8 large pizzas of all types, and gave us a hand-written note giving us condolences and instructions on how to finish baking the pizzas. They said they wanted to make sure my family was well-fed in our time of tragedy ❤ And the pizza is INCREDIBLE ❤ SPECIAL, SPECIAL PLACE“

I would highly recommend using them for all of your catering needs. And if you are in Thorton, pick up lunch. You won’t regret it.“

“The staff weren't that nice, the food didn't live up the the Barraco's name, but it wasn't a terrible experience. If the staff didn't hand us smudged glasses and forks with food stains, had been more like waiters who entertain guests rather than serve food, and a pizza that seemed not to be baked well and had a grainy crust, it would be five star dinning I experience. I had no real problem here, but it hadn't lived up the name.“

“Growing up in the Chicago area, especially on the south side, you EXPECT local pizza joints to be good. Lots of places that don't primarily sell pizza still have better pizza that you get in other parts of the country.

Though it's been around for a long time, as have I, I'd never tried Rosangela's prior to this time, and I'm here to say that I am a believer.

I tried introducing a colleague of mine to chicago pizza at a couple other places, and they did not impress him... Rosangela's did.

Just a medium special and a drink, but I will tell you that it's some of the best tavern style things crust pizza you'll ever have.

It's as good as your favorite place, and likely better.

“My only complaint is I’m mad I just found out about this place. We ordered a sausage pizza, it’s right up there in my top 5 best pizza’s. It’s very well seasoned and they don’t skimp on the sausage. Delicious pizza, Friendly costumer service , and the price wasn’t bad at all. My husband loved it too and he’s very hard to please when it comes to pizza. “This place has two atmospheres.

One part of it is fine dining with white table cloths.

The second part is a bar with high tops and booths. This is where we sat. There are TV’s everywhere. Even each booth has its own TV. Abbey Murphy’s dad, the waiter told us, is a frequent customer here. That was exciting for my six year old hockey player son and his hockey player friend. There was a banner for everyone to sign right before she won the gold Olympic medal. Of course my son and his friend couldn’t resist (Connor & Patrick). They’re both St. Jude Knights currently just as Abbey Murphy used to be.“
