DeLishka Sandwiches & Bites offers some of the best sandwiches I've had! I tried the Gusti dal Nord with prosciutto, gorgonzola, arugula, and pear—an amazing blend of flavors for $12.50. The Cipriani, with Italian mortadella, mascarpone, arugula, and optional pistachios, was equally delicious at $11.75. While there's a bit of a wait, it's worth it. The ambiance is okay, but the food more than makes up for it. Definitely planning to try everything on the menu!“

Parking: In Walmart facility there is plenty of parking. But most of the time the parking lot is packed the restaurant is in Walmart.

I was super impressed with the communication between staff members, the kindness towards all who came in, and the efficiency of the service. “Detroit native living in Texas I wanted a corned beef sandwich before leaving Chicago. Went in ordered 2 mile high sandwiches for me and my boyfriend before heading to the airport. I wanted to taste the sandwiches to make sure they would hit. I only got corned beef from Detroit and my favorites are from coney islands. We took one bite of this sandwich turned around and got 2 more. The corned beef melts like butter sandwiches are amazing“

Low and behold, there was a mistake and it had been taken with another online order by mistake. They graciously paid for my children's slices of pizza while we waited and then refunded the entire order. They went above and beyond and we weren't expecting that. Anticipating needs, attention to detail and gracious with the mistake that can happen. Can't wait to return. I had heard they had the best Reubens you have EVER had and my mother agreed. The atmosphere is somethi g they cant really control. The homeless are abundent, the city dorsnt clean the area or help the homeless out of the park next to it.

Not only do they have a wide variety for subs and add ons but they also sell hot dogs , italian beefs , burgers and pizza puffs as well as so many side options from fries to mac n cheese bites! “Everything we got here was amazing! Mendel recommended the Donny and the Burger; but I had to get a sandwich since it's called the Sandwich Club! I went back and forth for a long time and he was so patient. Ended up getting the Donny (I was worried it would be too spicy so I swapped the firecracker sauce for their BBQ mayo on Mendel's suggestion) and it was SO GOOD! In our group was also the Pastrami and the Sicilian. Both so delicious. Thanks for all your help and patience, Mendel! We'll definitely be back! Oh, almost forgot, the fries were glorious. “I liked the remodeled look of the subway and I absolutely love the service. As soon as I walk in I get a greeting and a smile from the employee. The food always smells and looks fresh. The bread is super soft as well, other subways have hard or stale bread but not this one. I will be going to this subway in the future and I highly recommend going here for a quick bite to eat.“

I asked if the owner was from Philly and they said yes.My one critique is I asked for hot peeppers hoping for long hots and they put giardiniera, but that was partially my mistake.The rolls could be a bit better, they're very close to that philly/nj roll, and I would say closer than anything else I've found in chicago so far, but they're not quite the same yet.Other reviewers mentioned that they make the bread here in house. I asked if they did and they said no, so I'm not sure why the other reviewers said that.Overall a great hoagie in Chicago! Definitely recommend“
