“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit here and our friends will be back sooner. Great food!!!!“

We celebrated my mom’s birthday at Field House in Deerfield and it was honestly such a special experience from start to finish.

The atmosphere is beautiful—warm, inviting, and perfect for both an intimate family dinner or a bigger celebration. From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel so welcomed and taken care of, which made the night even more meaningful.

The food completely exceeded expectations. Everything we ordered was incredible—from the homemade cheese curds (a must!) to the nachos, and my personal favorite, the lobster gnocchi. The menu truly has something for everyone, and every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.

What really stood out was how accommodating and kind everyone was while we celebrated. They made my mom feel so special, and that’s something we’ll always remember.

If you’re looking for a place that delivers amazing food, great energy, and a genuinely memorable experience, Field House is it. We’ll absolutely be back.“

“These folks definitely know how to make amazing fries 🍟🔥 Not only do they have a perfect golden color, but they also stay impressively crispy even after sitting for about 10–15 minutes while I was out in the cold ❄️👌 That crunch didn’t fade at all, which really says a lot about the quality. Music was 80s new wave on the juke box with a dude dancing by himself probably his play list and I enjoyed it. Good vibe. Bartender was attentive and was constantly moving cleaning and serving.“

“This is like a sit down food hall. Three restaurants food to choose from. I went with the patty melt while my wife and bonus son went with tortas from Taco Diablo. It’s a very cool concept.

The food is always good and typically you can be seated promptly. There's an excellent selection of appetizers and entrées. It can get a bit noisy at busy times, but that's to be expected for the convenience that it offers to the theater and shopping at old Orchard.“

“We visited this amazing establishment last night and ordered the filet and the Manhattan strip for our entrées with a side of the mushrooms, and it was possibly one of the best steaks we had had. Our server and Jesse was wonderful, and when he wasn’t available home, there was another manager who came and brought items out, so there was no delay in service while he was attending another customer and socialized at the table. We dined outside on the patio underneath the heat lamp and lights. The Barn was the perfect atmosphere for our relaxing evening together. We were very pleased with all that we ordered as well as the service. We would highly recommend the Barn restaurant to others.“

I did find the 20% service charge a bit surprising. I did not see any signage for it or any notice on the menu. I was unsure if it was meant to take place of a tip. I also found it a bit odd that the wait staff would speak to me in Japanese, however, around my girlfriend (who was also using japanese and ordering from the japanese menu), they would speak in English only.“

Both of our dishes were prepared to our specifications. Mine was seared on the outside and tender moist on the inside. To add to that perfection, the sunchoke purée had an amazing mélange of flavors. I finished my meal with the Scorza Dolce--also packed with flavor.I have now had three meals that were so exquisitely flavorful that they will stick in my mind forever (previous two are from 1981 and 2005). I love that they serve fresh juice (the Verde Vida was amazing) and have a large tequila selection. The Blackberry margarita also did not disappoint, and the food is authentic and delicious.
