Mission BBQ restored my faith in restaurants.Went in the young gentlemen at the counter went way above and beyond walking us through the menu, explaining how things are cooked, how he likes things making recommendations.While waiting to get my food another gentlemen told me all about how they cook, their sauces and more. The gentlemen cleaning tables was super friendly and helpful as well. It was like Chick Filet service on steroids.And the food, fantastic, the ribs were good but the brisket was probably my favorite. Sides were excellent as were the drinks. Highly recommend Mission BBQ and I'll definitely be back, want to try the brisket dry instead of moist and also want to try a burger. “I tried the Fire & Grill yesterday for take out order. I ordered 6-piece wings and fries in both Grilled and fried. I can say they were equally very good. Nice size and done just right. Juicy and good flavor with plenty of tasty fries. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They informed me that the grilled wings only 4 were ready and I could wait a few minutes for the other two but offered to give me a leg and thigh in its place if I did not want to wait. I took them up on the offer and the grilled leg and thigh was also very good. I will be ordering from here again. The only thing I would say is that I did not see a bathroom available for those that want to dine in and wash your hands afterwards.“

“The best bbq around hands down. Super Smokey flavor and smoked to perfection. My only gripes was you have to order at the counter and they call your name. I stalled the line a bit cause I didn’t know the menu but it’s not that difficult to do either. I’m guessing less staff = lower prices and I didn’t think it was crazy expensive, it’s decent. Second gripe was the paper towels in the center of the table, should be off to the side but no biggey, easy work around. Great place though! I’ll be back.“

“Uncle Bub’s was such a fantastic caterer for our wedding. They helped with setting up all linens, centerpieces, chargers, menus, signs, and any and all decor we needed for the event. They got there right on time, knew exactly what they needed to do and were just so helpful throughout the whole event. They were cleaned up on time and made sure everyone was served and taken care of the whole time. Absolutely no complaints from any of our guests and only great compliments on both the food and service.Not only was their day of service fantastic, but the planning process with them was very smooth. Easy to contact, flexible with tastings and conversations on weekends when we had more availability. The conversation and interaction with all of us was informative and funny throughout. We were also served to sample the finished foods they were demonstrated. Parmesan chicken was good however I do enjoy the Parmesan encrusted chicken at Cheesecake factory more. Ribs were fall off the bone and tasty. Sweet potato was more like a delicious dessert than a potato as it was covered with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. What could be bad? “Great place to have a casual meal with friends or family. Not sure if you need a reservation but we made one for a Friday night just in case. Sat at a round table with cushy comfy chairs. You scan a QR code on the table, order what you want and keep your tab open. Our friends did the same on their own phone so at the end there was no awkward; how much do we each owe? situation. I wanted a beer flight but had no idea what to order so I waved down someone by the bar. I told him I usually like Blue moon, Stella, and coronas so he told me to order the "light flight" So I did and I loved all three choices. For my meal I had the Lobster Roll with a side of fries. My husband got the Chimichurri Arrenchera Sandwich and we split a large Mac and Cheese. My lobster Roll was packed with meat. So good and I was glad I got it. My hubby loved his sandwich as well. Neither of us were fans of the Mac and Cheese and I thought the seasoned fries could have been better. I will definitely come back to this hidden gem. I'm looking forward to sitting outside when the weather gets nicer.“

They had trivia night while we were there and you could tell it was a pretty big deal amongst the locals. The guy running the trivia was a star! His personality is great for it. “Smitty's ale house is at the location of the old stores, the spirits bar not the strip club. They really did not change much from the outside. The new owners updated the bathrooms, looks like they expanded the kitchen and removed the dj booth. All probably good moves, based off of the history. The aaa staff was nice and engaging. The crowd for a bears Sunday was a lot lighter than the places previously iteration . That may be due to the bears sucking this year though. There was also less staff but enough for the limited crowd. For an ale works they had pretty standard beers on tap. Looked like only one rotating tap out of the 10 on the taps. Not a very deep option for beer needs. I do think any bar named Smitty's should have guineas on tap . I had the steak quesadillas. They were solid bar food. Overall thisplace is worth the stop but needs a bit more to stand out.“

“This has been my go-to shop for broasted chicken. Quaint little hole-in-the-wall place for good quality, fresh food. I have not yet had any negative experiences with their chicken, apart from maybe the occasional soggy bits on the otherwise crispy skin, but that could be attributed to the chicken steaming inside of the box during the car ride home, so it is best eaten as quickly as can be devoured to experience max deliciousness and freshness. I have been ordering take-out from them for several years and hopefully will continue ordering from them for several more years to come.“
“Gave this place a whirl during my lunch before tuning 4 pianos at Crone Middle School. It exceeded my expectations so much that I came back after tuning those pianos which was 4.5 hours later and the cashier even recognized me which was a nice surprise. Customer service was great and the food was even better. I love that they have a few different sauces to experiment with the tasty food. The sassy, shark sauce and shark white and can’t forget there version of the Carolina sauce. All of it was on point. I had the half chicken and a sausage link with a side of green beans, mashed potatoes and sweet mashed later on with the corn muffin. Everything was kosher and definitely will be back next week as there are more pianos to be tuned at different schools. Highly recommend this place!“

Well it was don’t perfectly, it seems just a little chewy. But no where near enough where I wouldn’t get it again. I would recommend Duncan and Dada’s and would actually get the pizza again. My wife loves the breaded zucchini. The pieces were big, unlike other area places where it’s small pieces and all you get is breading. Well, last night we finally made it back, along with couple friends visiting from Germany, and boy, you did no disappoint! We loved the Brisket which is moist and has a bit of delicious fat, the pulled pork is not dry but flavorful and turkey slices are just ok -maybe lacking flavor which can be dressed up with a choice of sauce.The two slices of bread could be replaced by the traditional corn bread .The coleslaw was freshly made and yum! We found the mac & cheese to be bland and is a surprise because other patrons complained about this item and feedback didn’t seem to help! The triple chocolate cake is tasty but not moist enough so it crumbles.We paid $34 and was enough for two persons.Very pleasant staff will return on Tuesdays !“

“I don't know who all the folks from California are with the bad reviews. I have been eating Joe's rib tips, gizzards, and fish for years, and never had a bad meal. The rib tips are outstanding, the sauce is excellent, the gizzards are fried just right, and the fish is delicious. If you don't like bones in your fish, get the catfish fillets and avoid the perch. I always have them leave the fries off my order because by the time I drive home they are lukewarm, and I like fries blazing hot from the oil. Now I gotta try their beef ribs!“
