Everything is fresh and cooked to order, which you can really taste. The chicken came out hot, juicy, and perfectly grilled with that nice char flavor you want from peri-peri. Nothing felt pre-made or sitting around — they clearly make it when you order.

The service was fast and super friendly too. Staff was welcoming, helpful with recommendations, and kept things moving quickly even during busy time.

The real stars though are the sauces:

Ordered medium and it was a good spice level, but if you are sensative to spice, I would opt for the mild as it was hotter than I expected. Their portions are great for the price too. They are still one of the only chicken places that you can get livers, gizzards and hush puppies. All cooked to perfection and their delicious crunchy breading.“

Let me not forget, JjPeppers on Addison and Central also has an ATM machine to make it convenient for customers… plus Gaming Machines for those that enjoy playing. No more public nuisance like it used to be with previous management.

“hot fresh all the time they never let me down“

“1st time beign here after passing it every time for the past 10 years. You walk into a clean fresh bright joint greeted by the women. Menu on the tvs are clean. There is no dirty corner to me that screams alott about the place. So super props for that. Ordered a 2 item fish special. Perch & catfish and comes with fried and a slice of bread. Easy on lemon pepper. And double fried. It was a great experience. Food was delicious. I wasn’t expecting this place to be clean the way it was tho.“
