“The food was excellent. We were a party of 6 and everyone had something different. Portion sizes were large. Food was piping hot when served. Wait staff was friendly. The owner came over to check on our group at least twice during our dining experience. Loved the atmosphere. I will come here every time I’m visiting Chicago!“

Ann Marie was the sweetest I came when I was 8 months pregnant and ate everything!! From a meatball sandwich to the chicken limón to everything else my husband ordered off the menu !! Ann Marie made me feel the best straight out of the hospital this day!! She gave me a good long list of baby names that I will appreciate forever !! “I was visiting Chicago and stumbled upon this place looking for a quick bite for lunch. It was so good I went back two more times, and brought friends on the subsequent visits. Nothing fancy, just a great giant slice of Chicago style thin crust pizza and friendly staff. Not only that, it's priced great -- two slices and two drink for $15. They have some tables so you can eat in. Would definitely go back on my next visit and would definitely recommend.“

“These guys have been on my list for a while and it was worth the wait. THIS IS PIZZA. Bridgeport phils still has my heart but this place just bumped into the 2/3 spot for me. TOP 3 Chicago pizzeria.

Crust: this is what did it for me. The crust was a perfect thickness and kept its structure/ crisp throughout the whole pizza

Sauce: they’re cooking down their own sauce I believe. It’s got a touch of that fresh tomato sweetness. Nothing over powering, just a great classic sauce

Sausage/cheese: high quality Battaglia products. Traditional cheese blend and good sausage. Nothing crazy in this category but definitely brings their pizza together

“My first time in was yesterday and the cashier, maybe he’s the owner? I’m not sure but was so nice! He answered the questions I had, he was very patient, and even recommended me his choice of things. It's refreshing to see people who actually care about their job these days and customer service. On top of all of that great impression, the pizza was SO good I got a slice of cheese, and their Hala sausage and I was surprised of how good it was???. The crust was crispy on the bottom, and had a softer outside crust. The cheese was good, and the Hala Sausage tasted fresh you definitely got a loyal customer here??‍♀️?. “We had reservation at 8pm on a Friday and the staff was super great in getting us in early (we arrived at 7pm after finishing errand early). The food was AMAZING. We all order personal pizzas and had wings as appetizers. The wings were perfectly crispy and their ranch was the good kind of ranch. The pizza did take a bit longer to arrive. I know deep-dish pizzas probably require longer time to make but the restaurant wasn't too busy but it wasn't a crazy time. We did order cocktails and the ratio of alcohol to mix was well done. Would definitely recommend coming for that Chicago deep-dish pizza experience!“
