“We went today to the brunch cafe after Holy Mass in the am. It was fully packed but we didn’t wait long. We all ordered but my food came out a little late, the manager (at least I think so) personally apologized and said there was a mistake in the kitchen and they are preparing the food as we speak. Honestly, I didn’t mind, it’s fine not a big deal at all. I Waited maybe 5min longer that the others at my table. I got my food and it was very good. We enjoyed it all. The bill came and it turns out I got my meal that I was waiting for a little longer for free, managers discount. It was super nice. They didn’t have to do it. It wasn’t a big deal to me. But they cared and wanted us to have the best experience. It never happened to me before at any restaurant. Thank you 🙏“

“I haven't been to Alexander's in years and my last experience wasn't a good one. The food wasn't great and the service was terrible. This time was a complete 180° experience! The place has been renovated and looks very nice and very clean (including the very nice restroom). The food and service were, both, wonderful with nice selections on the menu. We went on a weekend, so they had a piano player who was very good. Even the prices weren't the usual "painful" experience of most restaurants. We will, definitely, return. I went because I was told they had improved, considerably, from what I remembered. They have!“

“First time customers. Had the southwest chicken sandwich it was great! While we were there they started singo. We decided to stay and play and had a lot of fun! Everyone was very nice and the bartender was very attentive! Prices were very reasonable and comparable to other places. I saw other reviews about the pricing being outrageous and I didn't think they were any higher priced than any other bar and grill. There are plenty others that are higher priced and for smaller portions. Perhaps those people don't frequent the grocery store! Also noticed that there were small games there to play which is nice for people that have kids while they are waiting for their food! Would definitely go back again!“

“Wow, I have to admit I was completely wrong about Olive Garden! When my sister suggested going, I laughed, thinking it would mean mediocre food, bad service, and unimpressive drinks. But this location totally proved me wrong. Our waitress was absolutely amazing—seriously one of the nicest people I’ve ever met (wish I remembered her name!). “We got the tuna melt and the California club and they were the best sandwiches we'd eaten in a LONG time. The tuna wasn't fishy at all and everything was fresh...they did not skimp on the veggies and good stuff. We had our dogs there and they were very accommodating.

“We arrived early 5:30 with no reservations and got seated fairly quickly.. i ordered the seafood platter and chose calamari & shrimp.. the chef was exceptional at grilling everything to perfection, seasoning, and entertaining each and everyone at the table. It was an experience to be remembered.

My food was abundant and came out perfectly grilled and seasoned. It comes with soup, salad and even ice cream after words. I ate everything!!

Despite the slightly higher price points than the average dining experience it was well worth it. I would do it again especially for special occasions.

Fresh, not over cooked, spiced to perfection. While I would love to have a go to place closer, we will gladly continue to make the 30 minute drive to Crystal Lake to eat this high quality Thai. Prefer take out as the ambiance isnt spectacular but when we have eaten there, service is top notch.“
