“First time visit for wife & I and we met a large group there so we had 10 in our party. We had an RSVP, so unknown if you can walk in to be seated. The place had a great atmosphere with a little low lighting; the area we sat in had a nice round table- rare at restaurants these days but perfect for large groups instead of long tables that isolate people from talking to others on the opposite end of the table without shouting. The area we were in also appeared to be able to have a private party area with shades/covers that could be pulled down and enclosed area. Bathrooms were pretty clean. Staff was very polite & all dressed professionally in business casual, and our waitress service was really good. We all had plenty for drink refills.
The food, the most important thing, was REALLY GOOD. The place was apparently known for great steaks, and it didn't disappoint as their main food options were fish and steaks. Most of us at the table got a steak, and while I'm not a huge steak guy, this was probably the best steak I ever had, which was the rib eye. Others at the table who got the New York steak said it was good, and wife had a seafood dish she enjoyed. The deserts were also very good- chocolate cake & pumpkin cheesecake (which was I believe a chef's choice seasonal dish).
Definitely a place I would eat at again. The only downside? A bit on the pricey side with the steaks being around $50 starting price, so be prepared to spend around $100 a person after any side or desert or beverage beyond water.“

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

Fresh sushi that is rolled very well with beautiful presentation, delicious drunken noodles, perfect miso soup, and very fresh house salad with crisp red onions (I've never had such a nice house salad like this before, honestly!) “i recently had a disappointing experience at a restaurant that I felt compelled to share. I went there for dinner with my fiancée, mother, and our two young kids, ages 3 and 1. Initially, the dinner was fantastic; we were enjoying our time together and the food was great. However, after about an hour and 20 minutes, we were abruptly told we had to leave because of other reservations. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since I still had my drink left, and we had just paid our tab As we were leaving, we encountered a manager and inquired about the situation. To our shock, she responded by asking if we knew how to read English, which felt incredibly rude and unprofessional. I pulled up my reservation online and nowhere does it say there was a time limit. To make matters worse, as we walked through the bar to exit, she followed my mother and physically shoved her three times. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable in any establishment, and it left a sour taste in what could have been a lovely evening. We called the cops to make a report as the manager "lucy" (she told me this was her name) should never be able to touch a customer. Especially since we were not refusing to leave AND my kids were there to witness it all. In the car my son kept asking why the lady pushed my mom . This shouldn't be something I need to answer as it never should have happened. She tried telling the cops she did not have the "intent" to hurt but to get us out . Yet we were not even refusing to leave...only letting her know it was rude as we still had stuff that was unfinished that we paid for. I understand that restaurants have to manage reservations, but there are respectful ways to handle these situations. Additionally, she left it up to the waiter to tell us we had to leave . I won't be returning, and I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision. And please , if you were in the bar / restaurant when this all happened , speak up on how wrong it was of her to push someone like that.“

“Kooker’s is my favorite lunch time spot when I’m at the office for the day. They make their own natural cut fries that I love cooked well done. They have daily specials that are great deals, although all of their prices are fair. They have limited seating, but you can call ahead and pick up an order and I think they do delivery. When there, make sure you look at the specialty board that is to the right of the register. There you will find items that are not on the regular menu. Today I had the poutine with pulled pork—amazing. I highly recommend this locally-owned burger (and a lot more) joint.“

8/26/26 - still trying to go in every Wednesday and take advantage of the half price appetizers. Now I've been getting the steak quesadilla and the fried calamari and a couple of beers! Still cold beers still good food and Jessi the bartender does a great job.

6/3/26 - Wednesdays is half price appetizers all day so I had steak, quesadillas and mozzarella sticks and a beer and watch the ball
game while sitting at the bar.
It was all appetizers not just a limited selection So there was a lot of items to choose from.
I will definitely be back to take advantage of the special!

“I really like this place overall, but there are two things that keep it from being a 5-star spot for me.
First, the appetizers are hit or miss. They need more attention on both portion size and quality. The chips and dip came with nowhere near enough chips for the amount of dip. The pretzel bites are overpriced for how few you get, and every time I've ordered them they've been overcooked.
Second, the parking lot noise. People constantly hot rod out of the lot with no regard for the guests sitting outside. It's not just me, either. We sat on the patio and our server (who was great, by the way) told us guests complain about it all the time and that it scares their kids. Some speed bumps or signage would go a long way.
Fix those two things and this place would be hard to beat.“
