“Today I was in one of their restaurants and the food was terrible, the chicken felt old, sour, like past, I ordered a five and they brought me a pasta with tomato sauce, I couldn't eat it and the service, despite having Spanish-speaking staff, put us We asked a person who only speaks English for a container so as not to vote for the food and they brought us some containers as for dessert we ordered two lalagas and even the color of the dried red tomato was in bad taste. I think I will not return to one of their restaurants and because of that Since I will recommend it as very bad, terrible, what a shame they deteriorated so much“

“My husband discovered this restaurant has an entirely gluten-free menu and is farm-to-table. The offerings were so good! On our first visit, we began with the charcuterie board and bruschetta, then two of us had a scallop special, and my son had the flat iron steak. All the bread was fresh and excellent--not "for being GF" but just plain good. The dessert choices were interesting and my husband had the lemon poppy seed cake with a lemon sauce. And the wine list was phenomenal! A fun mix of specialty cocktails, too!We have returned multiple times and had consistently good food and service. The menu evolves to incorporate seasonal items.“

“Tatsu Ramen is in Elgin and I attempted to eat here a couple of times but failed. We arrived as soon as they opened for dinner. It was quiet and empty inside so service was speedy. The menu was really simple and I had the vegetable ramen. I also tried the spicy vegetable ramen and it was so spicy but in a good way. The ramen came to the table one notch below boiling hot. It took awhile to really get at it, but once it cooled to a comfortable level it was quite soothing. The broth was way better than I expected it to be for a vegan base. It was rich, flavorful, and slightly creamy with a velvety finish. The portion size was huge with plenty of vegetables and noodles packed in. This ramen was the perfect complement to the cold gloomy weather outside and I look forward to having more.“

“Jude's has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Crystal Lake. I love the variety of internationally inspired options and the size of the plates is perfect. I brought a very large group of ladies there for Black Friday, everyone has particular tastes and was able to find something they liked. They have a very trendy area in the back with a huge couch/bench for larger parties which was so comfortable. To top it off, the staff are always kind and accommodating during our visits!“

“Beautiful & delicious gem in Downtown Algonquin.This is truly one of the BEST ice cream I have ever had. The atmosphere is nice. There is a little stage with instruments. If you are a musician the owner will let you play. There is a patio too if you prefer to sit outside. The service was very welcoming and polite. “I met my parents here the other day as we both traveled some distance to meet up. This restaurant was absolutely wonderful atmosphere, small & quiet when we were there. I believe we had their lunch menu, and I ordered the Capellini pasta, my dad got Eggplant Parmesan, and my mom got the Italian Beef. Unfortunately I would suggest the entire staff of the restaurant needs to eat that same sandwich my mom ordered. She said it was dry & had no flavor, as if they boiled the fatty meat in plain water and threw it onto a crispy piece of bread. Thankfully she said something(my mom has never sent food back my entire life and I’m in my 20’s she’s in her 60’s) so for her to ask it to be removed from the bill just shows how gross it was.Our server was WONDERFUL, and of course she took it off the bill, and encouraged my mom to order another dish. She settled on the Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and broccoli. She was throughly pleased with that dish, so it all ended well.The restaurant seemed cleaned and well managed other than maybe their Italian beef haha.Advice for future customers, don’t order their beef unless they change their recipe.Advice for the restaurant, PLEASE have a tasting going on for your staff members. The person who creates/created the recipes and cooks them needs to allow constructive criticism/feedback on their dishes. I drove over an hour an half away for açaí bowls in libertyville. I happened to stumble across this place which is now only a 40 min drive. “I love this place, so does my wife. We eat in on occasion but we mostly do takeout. The food is fantastic. All the people that work here are wonderful, super knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We get the same things mostly, pad kee mao and we’ll ask them to crisp up the noodles. I’m getting hungry just talking about it! They adjust spicy to taste (I’m a zero, she’s an 8) and portions are generous. I’ll occasionally switch to a green curry and we’ll sometimes get egg rolls; all really delicious. We’ve seen maybe three or four different owners open restaurants in that spot. The current owners and staff are our hands down favorites, lovely people and amazing food.“

“Southern Belle's is a really good restaurant. The service is top-notch. The food is cooked fresh. The Southern Belles skillet is by far my favorite breakfast dish. My wife enjoys the Pesto Egg Benedict. Super fresh and yummy. Also the Pancakes are huge, buttery and the house syrup is excellent. Their mixed drinks, brewed drinks and mimosa's are pretty great and well worth it. I had the Chi Tea ice latte and it was fantastic. The price is good.My wife and I have enjoyed Brunch Cafe and Maple n Syrup. But Southern Belle's is by far our favorite place for breakfast. We highly recommend it and like we said the service is excellent. The meat was well seasoned and perfectly tender; I find that some other places tend to overcook it to the point of it becoming rubbery, but Briana’s was perfect! I can’t remember the name of my server, but he was excellent at making sure we were well attended. I’d like to go back and try the chilaquiles; they’re not on the paper menu, but I did see it written with the daily specials.“
