“We went to Woodfire for my birthday. The food and service is excellent. Vicki was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. The food is so fresh and homemade. The pizza crust is crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. There is an assortment of types of pizza, but the cheese pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The pasta is rich and delicious. It’s cooked perfectly and the vodka sauce is amazing. The appetizers, home brewed beer, and desserts are phenomenal too. Step aside Coopers Hawk, I have a new favorite restaurant!“

“Leo was our Server and he did amazing, he was able to take care of us although we saw him handle a party of 24. Even though it was only two of us he treated us like we were the party. We appreciate servers like Leo. And shoutout to the manager Jon, nicest guy in the world. Came to check on us and chatted it up. It’s people like Jon that make the world a better place. And lastly shoutout to the back of the house. The food was amazing , my mother loves this place. Keep doing what you are doing.“

“This is some of the very best ramen I have ever had. And it's in my backyard!! After spending 2 weeks working on Los Angeles and going to ramen places every day, I fell in love with ramen in a way that found its way to the core of my heart. In the Chicago land area, for years, there was really only 2 places that were amazing. And to be honest, better than the places in LA. But then Tatsu opened and my wife and I were judgemental at first.... Until we ate it. The ramen is un-freaking-believably amazingly mouth watering and the service of the staff is just so welcoming and warm and real. I never feel rushed even when the place is packed (I'm looking at you Saturday nights). I feel like they want me here. And I'm happy to be so. Tatsu has become my absolute favorite ramen place to go to.
I'm actually nervous about going to Japan this year because of all the ramen shops we already have lined up to visit .. but something in me is screaming that when I get home to Elgin I will be welcomed with my favorite Spicy Garlic Tonkatsu waiting for me.
I can not recommend this place enough. Even my non-ramen-crazy friends all love it.“

“My favorite breakfast place of all time. Affordable and willing to accommodate gluten free. The chef here brings in the Louisiana flare, with respect to Mexican, German, and other cultures on the menu. Intelligencia coffee is the icing on the cake“

“Tonight I decided to venture out and try this restaurant my family has been RAVING about called Al’s Cafe in Downtown Elgin! I sat upstairs and had this lovely server named Marcie! She recommended the monthly special called “Moonstruck” and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The ambience, service and food is unmatched! If you are looking for a great night out I highly recommend Al’s Cafe!“

“We just had our Mom's 90th surprise birthday party here. The staff was fabulous! A big thank you to Mary, Sofia and Romy in particular. They helped usher her in, they refrigerated the cake for us, they took care of everything! I highly recommend Bennigan's for a party.“

If you’re not sure what to order, or are new to Lao food, the staff is very friendly and can recommend something perfectly suited to your taste. I got the Nam Neung platter and had so much fun making my own wraps! The Lao beef jerky strips and sticky rice are bomb!“

“NPT is the best pizza in the suburbs of Chicago! It is Neopolitan style pizza and they have pasta dishes as well. Their appetizers are excellent, their Tiramisu is top notch, and they have a good selection of wines and Italian sodas. Get over to NPT for authentic Neopolitan pizzas!“

“The customer service is always on point. I never had a bad experience I've been coming here for years a little pricey but worth it. The horchata could be better it's always watered down not a fan of their rice either. The meat is always fresh and trimmed I never get pieces of fat. The taco salad is phenomenal.“

“I love getting my morning coffee from Elder + Oat a few times a week. It is a little bit of a haul from my house but totally worth it. Have usually get their monthly seasonal cold brew I have never disliked it. Nicole is the sweetest barista! I highly recommend this cute coffee shop!“
