“We went today to the brunch cafe after Holy Mass in the am. It was fully packed but we didn’t wait long. We all ordered but my food came out a little late, the manager (at least I think so) personally apologized and said there was a mistake in the kitchen and they are preparing the food as we speak. Honestly, I didn’t mind, it’s fine not a big deal at all. I Waited maybe 5min longer that the others at my table. I got my food and it was very good. We enjoyed it all. The bill came and it turns out I got my meal that I was waiting for a little longer for free, managers discount. It was super nice. They didn’t have to do it. It wasn’t a big deal to me. But they cared and wanted us to have the best experience. It never happened to me before at any restaurant. Thank you 🙏“

“This is some of the very best ramen I have ever had. And it's in my backyard!! After spending 2 weeks working on Los Angeles and going to ramen places every day, I fell in love with ramen in a way that found its way to the core of my heart. In the Chicago land area, for years, there was really only 2 places that were amazing. And to be honest, better than the places in LA. But then Tatsu opened and my wife and I were judgemental at first.... Until we ate it. The ramen is un-freaking-believably amazingly mouth watering and the service of the staff is just so welcoming and warm and real. I never feel rushed even when the place is packed (I'm looking at you Saturday nights). I feel like they want me here. And I'm happy to be so. Tatsu has become my absolute favorite ramen place to go to.

I'm actually nervous about going to Japan this year because of all the ramen shops we already have lined up to visit .. but something in me is screaming that when I get home to Elgin I will be welcomed with my favorite Spicy Garlic Tonkatsu waiting for me.

I’ve ate off there menu many many times and was always impressed with the small exquisite touches to their different sauces and different cooking methods and today I ate their ribs for the first time which are featured on Saturdays as the Saturday special slow cooked ribs that are accompanied with either a soup or salad a choice of fries which are potato wedges or tater tots and the ribs are offered with their amazing barbecue sauce or their Jack Daniels sauce today I had their barbecue sauce and let me tell you hints of honey and molasses with touches of brown sugar. That’ll make you think that you’re in a place that deserves an award-winning slow cooked rib off of some type of competition absolutely amazing completely 100% recommend the one and only Offsides sports bar and grill if you’re looking for a place to feel at home and a place to taste some of the of the most wonderfully influenced options on a menu. The server that we have was excellent in the atmosphere was spot on. They have Booth seating you can sit at the bar or you can sit in front of the hibachi grill and hopefully your eyebrows don't get singed lolol the cooks put on a show so there is a little bit of flame involved. We were sitting at least 10 ft away from one of those grills and felt the heat I am surprised that people have their little children very close to that fire from the grill
But other than that everything was excellent and will be coming back very soon“

The horchata could be better it's always watered down not a fan of their rice either. The meat is always fresh and trimmed I never get pieces of fat. The taco salad is phenomenal.“
