“Aaron the bartender is great! Thank you! So friendly, so kind. The drinks are super fun / cute, and I especially recommend the pina colada. The service is excellent, the vibe is very cute. Went on a Tuesday night around 9-10:30 - it was quiet which was nice, but livened up towards the end. The drinks could be a bit better which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5 - but I'll absolutely be back :)“
“It is a very cozy and clean place, where you can enjoy sports or games of chance since it has gaming machines, the prices are quite affordable, they have a small menu, with very good flavor, the sandwich we ordered was accompanied by a delicious meat juice, good attention from the bartender, and you can play your music on the jukebox!“
“Low key bar, not a big place but cozy. They have slot machines but no pool tables ? Bartender was very attentive to our needs and came over to chat while I was playing my favorite slot machine, she also enjoyed playing the same game. I know this is random but the Women's bathroom door was the cutest ever. Outside looks like a small cramped but nope. It was surprisingly big and clean“
“Great atmosphere a friend of mine dragged me there and even though I am not much of a drinker and wasn't in a drinking mood they manage to warm me up to the idea with a corona on the house and how can I refuse it at that point it was cleared they ware more than just a bar I highly recommend this place great people tending towards customer service.“

“My cousin took me here for my birthday and I had a great time!! The bartender, Shelly, was the sweetest, nicest person ever! She was so helpful at picking drinks for me. I haven't been to very many bars and I really don't drink but she helped me pick out a couple really good drinks! The atmosphere and the other people drinking at the bar was so good. Everyone was so nice and just wanted to have a good time. At a point I even met parts of her family. I love a family bar ? ? Thank you for an awesome birthday!! ???“
“This is the City Tavern, Located on West Jefferson Street & Midland Ave. Great place to get a ice cold beer, mixed drinks, some shots. Watch a Cubs, White Sox baseball games, Chicago Bears football game. Black Hawks hockey game, 9 big screen TV'S to watch your favorite teams & Pro sports games on. Quick customer service friendly service with a ????????.“

“I stopped in and had a few drinks. The bartender was friendly, not a vast selection of hard alcohol, but they had the regular stuff. I asked for food, but no food was available. 2 pool tables, one dart machine, slot machines with a touch game, and iTunes. It was a small place with no table setting, only a bar, but it looked clean and cozy. The bartender seemed very relaxed.“

It's the kind of establishment where everyone is welcomed as friends & everyone knows your name! They offer a variety of drink specials & different events throughout the year including some that are family friendly! Come in for a drink & keep coming back as a friend!“
“I liked it, nice clean facility. Nice big bar area, the grill was clean and the lady cook was very nice, i asked for my amburger in a special way and she accommodated me. My oakbrook OTB is my favorite, been going there for years, but nice to try someplace different. Hawthorne club is a great get away to relax and have fun.“

“Ummmmm, I do not remember being here. I must have had one hell of a time because I do not remember being here at all. I do not drink too often, so if I was here and did drink, that would explain a lot.I guess I had a great time. I hope I did not cause any trouble. If I did, I apologize. It's those dang Coronas and tequila mixers that do it every time!I hope I kept my clothes on and did not swing from any chandeliers upside down naked.If I did, I made it home safe, and thank you for not calling the police on me. “Love this bar, love my boss aka mama Tk, love my fellow bartenders and last but definitely not least our regulars. I bartend most Saturday nights and occasionally day shift on Thursdays come play at TKS!! 😝 Oh and you can’t beat our cheap but always cold bevs made with love!“
