Very good chicken sandwich here at sub dock. Fries are fresh and lemon pepper chicken tenders are so good. The food was fresh. Service was great she recommended these plates. It's a small place but would definitely recommend to go.
I stopped here with my husband in an attempt to try something new. Since we've never eaten here before, we decided to split an Italian beef sandwich and a hamburger. The beef sandwich came with fries but the hamburger didn't, which was strange. First, the customer service was good.... The restaurant was a typical ma and pa establishment. Subdock by far has the best gyros in the city, perhaps in all Chicagoland. However, their fries have gone from bad to worse. They used to be undercooked crinkle-cut, they are now skin-on (generally our favorite) skinny fries drenched in so much oil that you could cook in them! Get the gyros, skip the fries, which may be the worst ever fries in the world!
