Gyros are always great!
The lady “Country” taking the order was a very nice lady. I ordered 3 gyro plates the meat was obviously put on the grill it was hard and burnt. I am not sure why it was put on the grill at all.
"Country" is such a sweetie, and her recommendation for the rueben was on point (why mustard the standard tho, thousand island please!). And for the price u more then get ur moneys worth if u get the meal with fries. Imma a fan i need a good sammich i know this place has me covered.
SubDock is known for having some of the best gyros in the Chicago area, as well as offering delicious chicken sandwiches and lemon pepper chicken tenders. Their soups are also popular. The service is friendly and attentive, and they recommend their fresh and tasty food options. While their fries have been criticized for being overly oily, the chicken tenders' fries are fresh and well-seasoned. Although the portion sizes have decreased slightly, the quality of the food remains consistent. Overall, SubDock is a small but recommended gem in Joliet, with a variety of good food and reasonable prices.
