“The beef tatami was excellent, lamb chops & calamari were good, yellowtail was ok...rice pot didn't have much flavorSteve, server had excellent interaction. Support staff was ok...plate change didn't happen unless we requested and was very slow, table never got manicured throughout$300 spend on party of 2“
“Sen Sushi is a tad hidden off of Oak Park Street near Addis’ Cafe. It’s a clean no frills place that offers good amount of specialty rolls and great Sashimi and Nigiri sets. They don’t take reservations and it is small, but seems like turn over is pretty fast. Definitely a place to try if you want decent sushi this side of the burbs.Parking: There is paid parking in front of the building or if u go about half a block down, free parking in front of the houses.“
“Ever since my go to restaurant Hong Min closed, I have been searching for a new Chinese restaurant. I live 4 minutes away and my girlfriends wanted to try this new restaurant Harmony in Palos Heights. They both ordered Pina coladas and they said it's pricey but pretty delicious. My dirty martini is gross. Dirty martini was my choice of drink so I've had quite a few and this is one that normally tells you they don't know what they're doing. It's just straight up vodka. No vermouth and no brine. Nothing but vodka with ice.Service was pleasant. Very friendly and the place was pretty big. Love how spacious the booths are which was very comfortable.Pot stickers was big and doughy and I had the Mongolian beef and it was delicious but it is spicy. I can eat spice and this was right up my alley. Chicken fried rice was also pretty good. Love how big the portions are and not skimpy at all.If my dirty martini was good, I probably would have given them 5 stars. It is my fault for ordering a dirty at a Chinese restaurant but with a liquor license, I expect that's doable. They could have simply say, please order from the menu or wine. We don't do martinis. Still a decent 4 stars. Will definitely be back for other dishes maybe no alcohol for me.“
“Hamds-down my absolute favorite sushi restaurant in the western suburbs of Chicago. The Asian Tacos and Crazy Jalapeño are a must for starters and I've yet to have a specialty roll I didn't love, to include a few off-menu rolls. Be sure to ask your server about those. Speaking of the staff, very friendly and equally attentive. The speed of service is also above par. Nabuki is certainly a spot worth visiting the next time you're in Hinsdale.“
“Ignore the person who apparently doesn't understand what "EXPRESS" means. This place slaps. It's cheap, good quality, and everyone is nice and friendly. It's a tiny storefront and not really meant for dining in. Don't judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree.“
“Loved it and I'll be back! So I'm new to the burbs and was ecstatic when I found out there would be this trendy fusion restaurant opening up. My husband and I stumbled upon it on a Saturday early evening - just in time for an early dinner. I'm a huge Mexican food aficionado so I know my Mexican food. It's not your typical authentic Mexican food that you'd find in the city, but a bit more contemporary and still flavorful - and I can appreciate that! We ordered the guacamole with chips and salsa which I thought were great. We also ordered the Al pastor tacos, the chicken tinga and carne asada. We ended our dinner with the Mexican donuts. Overall, I would go back and order all of it except the chicken tinga which was a little too sweet for my liking. My favorite was the Al pastor. My husband loved the carne asada. I also had a delicious watermelon mocktail not listed on the menu but something the bartender created on a whim. Best of all, the staff and our server were extremely friendly and attentive. We had such a great experience, I would definitely be back and it feels wonderful to have something fun and new in town.“
“This is a great price for the all you can eat. The rolls were delicious and the fried rice was the best fried rice I’ve ever had. I love that the appetizers and soup and salad are included in the all you can eat. I’m glad we came out it was so good I’ll definitely be back.“
“Stopped in with our 1 year old for sushi and everything was great!! Super fast service and family friendly. After leaving to get in our car, we found out that our car died, and the restaurant owner helped us jump our car! Above and beyond service. Thank you!“
“Sushi House in Oak Park is a true gem! Mike's exceptional service, combined with the best margaritas I've ever had, made our visit unforgettable. The fire dragon roll stole the show, presented with a torch for added flair. Everything was so good that we had to return the next day. And don't forget to check out the dope speakeasy in the basement—it's a hidden culinary haven that adds a touch of sophistication to the overall experience. This spot is a must-try! ????“
“I came here with family and friends to celebrate my two kids' birthday, and we had an awesome time. The hibachi is a must do. The kids and adults enjoyed not only the food but the entertainment of the chefs. I ordered the chicken and steak and they both were very good along with the other sides the chefs cooked up in front of us.“
“Been here multiple times for the all you can eat sushi special and will definitely be coming back for more.I can only eat like two specialty rolls and some appetizers but find it still cheaper to do AYCE vs pay per each roll. If you can eat a lot more than it’s definitely worth it.They only offer the AYCE during lunch until 3pm and they don’t offer it on major holidays so it’s something to keep in mind if you’re coming here for that.Sushi is great and the staff is very nice and attentive. Check this place out because you won’t regret it!Also, I’ve gotten takeout multiple times and have never had a problem or issue with my order.“
“Nice entryway. I was greeted immediately upon walking in & seated right away. The waitress (Annie) was nice and prompt. The restaurant was clean.I ordered the Alaskan Roll with Miso Soup & Edamame. I ordered shrimp fried rice to go. Everything was fresh and came out quickly. The rolls were thick and meaty. The meal was accompanied by wasabi, soy sauce and chop sticks. However, the sushi doesn't need sauce or any additional items. It was delicious. The fried rice is some of the best I've tasted.Parking: Free, but limited parking on the street.“
“I only tried the ramen and I found a hair at the bottom. I also didn’t really love the flavor too much. I wanted to love it and I like the concept and everything. I’d probably stick to somewhere else for the ramen and because of the hair I’m staying away ?“
“I love this place, come here for a lot of family birthdays. The owners are great people and the foods never a disappointment. Good first date, romantic night out, even a little bit after mid afternoon it’s really a great form of entertainment as your food is prepared and kids love the art of cooking amazing food with such talents that differ from chef to chef, saying you’ll always get a chef whose routine is something different or new vs the last meal you ate here. Love it. Long time customer.Parking: Plenty of parking in a large lot off la grange road, all free just a standard plaza of small businessesKid-friendliness: It’s definitely upper scale, kids are not a problem at all. I’d just be aware when spending money on quality food and an experience with other patrons would be best be suited for children who don’t throw a fit or cry. I hate saying it but everyone is spending good money on great food and amazing entertainment. I’m not against kids. I’d just make sure that it’s not just a privilege for kids but also adults. They 100% welcome kids but just might be better earlier in the day with them.“
“I have been going here for years and I'm happy they survived COVID. They were mostly take out until recently, when they reopened their dine in area. It's a quiet, nice restaurant with good sushi. I have gone to other places for sushi both in surrounding suburbs and in the city and this place is still the best one.“
“Vegetables at the airport? Sign me the hell up. My heart might call it quits if another burger and fries place pops up. I got the spicy tofu bowl. It was so good I had to ask the local youths what slaps meant. It slaps. Spice was on point. If you’re complaining about the spice, please stick to milder options. Don’t make the world bland for the rest of us. Veggies were actually fresh and crisp. Well-crafted bowl. Service was tops. I’m stopping here every time I come through“
“Me and wife went for dinner, we're Sushi lovers and we ordered 4 specialty sushi rolls, plus the agadashi tofu. They were delicious, I can't say the best, but there tasty. I would definitely recommend the place.Service was great, no complaints about it.The atmosphere was ok, we could talk over dinner and enjoy ourselves, not like other loud places.Place wasn't crowded even on a Friday. So we were sitted right away.I can't say this will be my new favorite sushi place, but I will definitely come back eventually.“
“[sorry i don’t know how to start sentences please forgive me ?]So this place is a pretty good place to eat in !! The food was great (Chicken Noodles <3) and the workers/servers were really nice-!! The guy that served my family (love you man <3) was also a great guy! Genuinely, the bill was pretty decent and we just had a good time overall[edit - if this review sounds like it waswritten by a kid, cause it is, cry about it <3][edit(s) - bonus points because they had the cool kowa candy]“
“review:I ordered sushi and beef rib soup and it was really delicious.Sushi: The sashimi is thicker than other places and has a good texture. It's actually better than most Japanese restaurants. I don't think there's any reason to go to another Japanese restaurant.Ugeoji Galbitang: It tastes like the real thing in Korea, not the typical MSG taste you get on the market. Be sure to come and try it. As I was eating frantically, I only took pictures of empty dishes. The spoon is the real spoon of truth. The owner is really kind. I will definitely visit again here.“
“Wonderful service here. I forgot our servers name but she was outstanding! My friend and I barely see each other so we try to meet once every few months. It was a pleasant experience, the food was delicious, the Dragon on Fire Roll was . It's worth a try, I definitely enjoyed my sushi with my Pear-tini!“
“I come here monthly. Sometimes 2 times a month. Shrimp fried rice is good, half the time I wish they put less cilantro . But overall it's worth it. The manager is nice, she's from the same part of China my wife is. She's always friendly“
