BUT this place was amazing! I never in a million years would ever think what they called Red Sauce on a chicken sandwich would go together! But it was so good! “We recently moved to the neighborhood and noticed Hubby's after leaving the Farmers Market a few weeks ago. My husband noticed they advertised catering on their building, so we thought we should reach out for our kiddos 1st Birthday Party. They DID NOT disappoint! Marcie responded to emails promptly. She was very accommodating with adding extra food last minute (86 guests), and their hot dog cart was such a nice touch for our baseball themed party. Our guests loved the hot dogs and mini Italian beef sandwiches! We were even able to accommodate our vegan guests with hot dogs too! We cannot wait to check out their spot in person and try other menu items as well! Thank you SO much for making our littles first birthday extra special!“
“We are Costco members from past 11 years and really love our Costco store. Costco carries huge selection of fresh fruits at reasonable prices. We always love our fresh fruits from here. In addition to it, Costco have always come to our rescue when it comes to renovations including buying flooring, outdoor lights, furniture. And their customer service is TOP NOTCH. We never think twice buying from Costco knowing the fact Costco got us covered.“

“It's been over two weeks since my family and I visited The Polish American Bistro. It would be remiss of me not to leave a wonderful review of this lovely restaurant! Ania and Darek, the owners, are the nicest and most hospitable people ever! Since I have family in Poland, it was fun to talk to them about their homeland. Now about their food . . . it's completely amazing! I ordered galumpki (ground beef and rice wrapped in cabbage). The tomato sauce on top was so delicious, it spun circles around the sauce my grandma used to make (sorry, Grandma!)! My husband ate a breaded pork cutlet with mashed potatoes. SO tasty! And my daughter opted for a cheeseburger that looked and tasted so great that we even returned the next day to order another cheeseburger to go! Our entrees were accompanied by a side of two types of salad - one made of marinated red cabbage, and the other was their super delectable authentic Polish sour cream, cucumbers and dill. As you can tell, our dinner itself was a 5-star experience. Last but not least, I must discuss their DESSERTS! When you walk into Ania and Darek's restaurant, your eyes will immediately be drawn to their multi-tier display of desserts. Unfortunately, since our stomachs were full after our delicious dinner, we couldn't even think of dessert. However, take-home was still an option! So I asked Ania to escort me to the dessert case and tell me about her sweet treats. It turns out she owns a bakery in another suburb, and all the desserts are made on location at the bakery FROM SCRATCH! So we took a few home (see photo), ate them the next evening, and they did not disappoint! I loved them all, especially the vanilla custard inside the eclair and fruit tart! The chocolately hazelnut dessert was a Kinder Bueno torte. I want to go back and try more of these amazing treats! You should really go check out The Polish American Bistro, whether or not you are Polish! They have food for everyone. Dziękuję Ania and Darek!“

“Great food and atmosphere. The chicken is always crispy and tastes delicious even after 20+ min, but the corn dogs are the best part. Esp sweet potato with plant based sausage 😋 all the employees are friendly too. Seeing them puts a smile on my face. Highly recommend at least once!“

“Absolutely amazing! The 1/2 Greek Chicken at The Gyros Factory is one of the best meals I’ve had in Des Plaines. Perfectly seasoned, cooked on the bone, and unbelievably tender. The rice pilaf and Greek potatoes complete the plate beautifully. A must-try!“

“Delicious food, friendly & speedy service :) I asked them to cook the turkey bacon on my avocado toast a bit more and they quickly and graciously crisped it up for me. They also have the best hash browns around. Get your own hot sauce/ketchup/etc condiments in the attached Pride convenience store“

“My God. In a world where people are chins on food, I opened up my chicken pita and found an explosion of delicious seasoned chicken. It was plenty full in fact I had to use a fork to finish it. I couldn’t believe how tender it was and how friendly the service was. A real tree to find a restaurant that still cared.“

“I love Portillo's. But this location cannot get drive-thru orders correctly. They consistently order the wrong number of items, or the toppings that we ask for. We've had to call in literally the last 5 times we've been there telling them they missed something, charged us for things we didn't get, or because we were given other people's orders. Clean it up Portillo's. It's not that hard serving hot dogs.“

“I had a great experience at Five Guys, and a big part of that was thanks to Amanda. From the moment I walked in, she made the atmosphere feel welcoming and comfortable with her warm personality and positive attitude. She greeted customers with a genuine smile and was extremely patient, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire visit. Amanda took the time to make sure everything was correct with my order and didn’t make the interaction feel rushed, even when the place was busy. It’s clear she truly cares about providing excellent customer service and making people feel appreciated. Employees like Amanda really make a difference and turn a simple meal into a pleasant experience. Because of her, I’ll definitely be coming back to this location. Five Guys is lucky to have her on their team!
