Or he just reminds me of Nick from New Girl ?) was AMAZING!! Give that man a RAISE! Bartender downstairs was great as well. Everyone from Hostess to bus boys had it together. “A hidden GEM! The food was quality. The pricing was affordable. The staff were welcoming and proud to work there. They love their jobs and it showed with the quality of service and of course the perfectly cooked steak and other dishes they were delicious. I definitely recommend this place. The only thing I didn't like were statues and figures of pigs on the mantle by the wine. I would definitely get rid of that it takes away from the ambiance. Overall definitely returning and recommending this to friends and family.“

“Epic, memorable lunch. We ordered steaks, and they were perfectly prepared and grilled. The strip steak was a perfect medium as requested, and my filet mignon was a delicious medium rare. No gristle, very tender. Barry, our waiter was accommodating, efficient, and flawless. We had 2 special requests that he honored without blinking an eye. Barry's not your run of the mill waiter. He's entertaining and funny without interfering in conversations. From beginning to end, it was a textbook perfect dining experience.“

“I lived in downtown Lemont for a while and watched Barrel & Vine being built. I've been going since they had a soft open. I absolutely LOVE their chimichurri fries, you need to try them. I now live out of state but stop in for dinner or lunch to meet up with family and friends when I'm in town. Everything I've had is delicious. Pub burger, charcuterie board, jambalaya, fries, short rib bolognese, and finally.. the salted caramel cookie skillet. Don't miss out.Parking: Because the restaurant is located downtown, the parking is a little difficult on weekends. There is street parking, and a lot across the street. “The food met or exceeded everyone's expectations. Our server, Brooke, and her assistants were terrific: pleasant, patient, and attentive. The restaurant was full/noisy and the host did his best to accommodate us with a quiet location, a request we made through the app because of the hearing disability of my husband who is a Vietnam Veteran. The volume of the restaurant was still too loud for him: even with hearing aids conversing across a table that could have accommodated eight when we turned out to be only five was challenging, but the window location was the best option and we appreciated that the host did his best. I'm pointing out this situation because it is difficult to find a restaurant that ticks all the boxes: good food, good value, and good conversational ambience. Surely it is a plus that Neat did their best.“

Excellent service from Johanna who is personable, professional and-knows the menu well! You can't go wrong with her recommendations though not sure you could go wrong with anything here! “Celebrated my bday on Monday . Food was delicious as always , waitress was pleasant and very attentive. The only reason I am giving 4 stars it’s because the hostess was very rude and ignorant. If you having a bad day maybe next time take a day off . No one wants to see your attitude.“

“Came here with my wife while we were in town for a marriage conference. It was a busy Saturday night, but we had a reservation so the wait wasn't bad. Service was excellent and they got us helped very promptly, even with the full house!I ordered pollo marsala (pictured) with The Godfather (drink). Both were excellent! My wife ordered the pappardelle al nonno and she liked it as well. Great atmosphere as well. Would recommend the high tables if you're on a date as they're a bit more tucked away.Parking: We went on a Saturday evening (6:30 reservation) and didn't have any issues finding parking. Used the side lot which is shared by the other businesses nearby and found a couple spots immediately.“

“A group of us met here for a guided tour. The shop is setup with a very comfortable tasting area as well as a sit down bar area. Our group brought small bites in and we noshed while tasting 7 different wines. Wines were very tasty, very good quality and the staff was very knowledgeable about them. Highly recommend for groups, for wine lovers and newbies. Will repeat and plan on bringing a light dinner and trying more micro crafted wines. Pricing for the tasting is very reasonable and if you like the wines you can purchase some to take home with you.“
