“I recently visited a charming Nelikona coffee place in downtown Palatine. The rose 🌹 coffee was delicious. I loved that it was served in gorgeous tea cups, adding a unique touch to the experience. “I have been going to this place for the past number of years and every single time the steaks are cooked perfectly. I actually requested “medium rare plus“. Cooked, char grilled perfectly. Highly recommend the cowboy ribeye bone in. All food, including the sides and even desserts are outstanding. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. Quality of the service matched the quality of food. it’s nice when the experience and quality of food and Service matches the cost. Well worth it!“

Loved the pot roast as well on the skillet. It was tender! Service was incredible from beginning to end - always felt like I had enough coffee and made sure the experience was excellent from beginning to end. Definitely coming back here soon to try more!“

“We went to Woodfire for my birthday. The food and service is excellent. Vicki was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. The food is so fresh and homemade. The pizza crust is crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. There is an assortment of types of pizza, but the cheese pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The pasta is rich and delicious. It’s cooked perfectly and the vodka sauce is amazing. The appetizers, home brewed beer, and desserts are phenomenal too. Step aside Coopers Hawk, I have a new favorite restaurant!“

I absolutely love going here. The chefs are funny and entertaining and the food is plentiful. No problem giving this place 5 stars.“

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

“Nice little spot with great outdoor seating and a cozy little interior. The board games available inside is a nice touch. Ordered the slushy and it was pretty solid. However, I would not recommend ordering any of the sundaes other than maybe the banana split. Portion sizes for those are a bit small and I found the price tag of nearly 8 dollars to be unreasonable especially for soft serve ice cream. Besides that though jts a great spot and I would definitely recommend it!“
