“The staff was very friendly and professional. The restaurant, bathrooms and arcade were extremely clean. The food was very good! We had the hot honey panini, quesadilla and the kids chicken nugget meal :) I highly recommend Tyler’s Tender Railroad Restaurant.“

“Cream of mushroom soup is good. Home made soups are good. The breaded tenderloin sandwich with mashed potatoes was good. Showed up a bit weird though. The breaded tenderloin was on top of the bread with mashed potatoes and gravy to the side. The entire dish was then covered in brown gravy. There was no way possible to make a sandwich, but I cut it all up together and ate it as a mix. It was still good.“

“My friend and I ate here in the middle of the afternoon and we both had breakfasts. Server was very friendly and attentive. Food was very good. Prices were excellent. Chopped steak was delicious. My friend had the french toast. Nothing to complain about other than could change out some light bulbs.“

“Fast service for seating on a Thursday morning, great waitress service, clean , meals was hot when served and the best part was the bathroom clean , smelled great, loved the handlebars that you can use with your arm so you don’t have to use your hand , would recommend this place for your self or family! “Kelly is an amazing server! She goes above and beyond. She’s so sweet and kind and very attentive. She makes sure you are happy and have everything you need. We dine here often and this was the first time we had Kelly. I can officially say that she is by far the best server! You can tell she is happy and loves her job and the customers. Good Job Kelly! “Top notch is a nice family dining area. That have a large menu to pick from so whatever ever your hungry for more than likely they will have. You can't go wrong. The waitresses are pleasant and helpful, the food is hot and delicious it feels like you're at your Aunt's house having supper. The prices are very reasonable also.“

“We ate there with friends for dinner. We were seated right away; this is a very big place. It is very well kept and very old school in every way. The service was top notch with very attentive wait staff.I ordered the Sliced Roast Turkey, and my wife went with the Chicken and Lake Perch Combo. My Turkey was good, though slightly on the dry side but the gravy helped with that. The dressing and potatoes were good.My wife’s dinner was very large, and she said it all tasted good. She didn’t agree with the reviews about the chicken being the best, but she said it was fine. Next time she will just get the Perch because that was fantastic.If you want an old school restaurant that will remind you of the olden days, this is the one for you.“

“OMG, I had not been to Bakers Square in forever! I was hoping they still had my favorite sandwich: Grown up grilled cheese, with fries and honey mustard on the side and of course I finished it off with a slice of lemon meringue pie. “I DO NOT RECOMMEND. Was served water in a dirty glass and the waitresses became very unfriendly when I informed them. Long story short they tried to blow me off and claim the manager was going to be busy for four hours but they'd take my name and number. Stood my ground. Finally the manager came out and took care of the bill. Guess the waitresses got served.“

“Been going to this place for many years, my absolute favorite local restaurant by far.

Parking: The purple steer in Highland Indiana always has multiple parking spots open, I've never seen it completely packed before in my many years of going here.

Kid-friendliness: I've never seen anyone have any problem regarding a child of any age, be it the other people in the restaurant or the employees. They do have high chairs and a kids menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: The seating is rather low to the ground so sitting shouldn't be too difficult, however the doors can only be opened manually.“

“Let me eat huge daily special plates for free as a dishwasher when I was starving homeless in other people's homes unlike the rest of the greedy restaurants. Even offered very discounted monthly hotel across the street. I used to walk miles in the high snow for that check.“
