HOT!!! ha ha ha...The ambience was fun and the view of the water from our vantage point was just breathtaking!!! Our server Derrick was such a nice young man! He was professional, made certain that we were ok, and went back and forth many times for those extra things that we needed for our meal!!! I'm certain that it was very hectic for all of the servers during the fest, but they handled the crowds so well!!! Again, we were just thrilled to have stumbled on Joanie's!!! “We were in town for a convention and staying at a hotel. We decided to order a pizza our last night there. We chose Joe's at random, and we were not disappointed. Our order was delivered promptly by a very nice, and courteous person. The pizza we ordered was delicious. We loved everything about it -the thin crust, delicious sauce (not too much), and generous amount of cheese. I especially liked that the toppings were under the cheese, and there were herbs!! “Ok walking up you knew it was going to be something special. You walk up to this grand outdoor double sided fireplace beautiful. Then there beautiful outside that covers the wall to the right of the fireplace in the courtyard, most likely used for outside events. Not to mention there’s a space in the back that can open its doors to the courtyard. This place has so many different things to look at and we didn’t even get inside yet. Firstly, let me start by raving about Colleen, the GOAT of bartenders! She is an absolute sweetheart! From the first day she made me feel at home! If you are new, she goes up to you, introduces herself and hands you a napkin. She has the most awesome and proper etiquette for the hospitality industry. Colleen is an absolute godsend! I do not know a single person who badmouths her. She also makes the best margaritas and rums/cokes! She remembers your name as wel and starts calling you by your name on the second day. The other bartenders are amazing as well. On Tuesdays and Thursdays when I go in, Lisa remembers my drink and food order. She is also a gem as well! As far as the food goes, the chicken bacon ranch wrap is one of the best I have ever eaten. The Cheddar Cheese burger is amazing as well. Seriously this place is a great find. As far as the reviews calling this place racist are concerned, to each their own: I have never had any issues and I am disabled and asian that is like a double negative. It is the most inclusive place around town!“
