“If you love fresh seafood then this is your place! My husband and i ate here for the first time today and were super impressed! The place was clean and well decorated, the staff were really polite but above all the food was AMAZING! The prices initially seem a little high but trust me when i say you get a great deal for your money! It is so hard to find seafood sold this fresh at this quantity in the Midwest for this price! If you don't mind spending a little extra for the quality this is definitely a place you need to try!“

“Went here last night and had an awesome experience. Vibe was great largely do to the very professional and attentive staff. Everything we had was delicious and had great presentation. The general manager Bri came around introducing herself to tables and making sure everything was as it should be. We will definitely be returning.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had our Nov. 2024 wedding rehearsal at Cut 158 and were completely impressed and happy with our experience. The food is excellent and the service was top notch. The staff made us feel very welcome and taken care of the entire night. They added little cute touches like our picture on the menu that made it feel special and their new space is really modern and perfect for events. We highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or just a nice dinner out. We have been coming here with our family the last few years and it is an amazing gem in Joliet.“

“Wooden Paddle for the win! I have a pretty serious dairy allergy (weird that I chose to come to a pizza place, I know), but I saw that they had a cashew dairy free ricotta option. I figured it would be worth a try! Since developing my allergy, I haven’t been able to indulge in a pizza that tastes anywhere similar to a “real pizza”, but let me tell you that Wooden Paddle served me the best dairy free pizza I have ever had. It seriously almost brought tears to my eyes, lol! My choice was the pepperoni pizza and I felt like the dairy free ricotta really complimented it well. It is not often that you find a place that has owners so invested in the quality of their products. I was immediately sold when they said there was no seed oils, they only sell organic sodas, and their food is quality. I’m so excited to come back.

“My husband ordered a shrimp soup for takeout. The soup was served hot and had a delightful flavor, complemented by a well-balanced mix of ingredients. The meal also included a warm slice of garlic bread, lime, tostadas, saladitas, and three distinct salsas. Overall, it was a five-star experience. 💫“

“Wow! The holiday decor was on point ??The place is small, but popping. The drinks, food, and service were good. It was crowded, but somehow the staff kept making room for the next guests coming in. Our server was great. He made a mistake, but owned up to it, and we got to order something better! He was super busy ? We got the baked goat cheese and the beef sliders. The sliders are big and come in 3! If you are looking for a quaint, quiet, wine bar don’t come here! If you’re looking for a fun, loud, cozy, wine bar come here! ? ? I only got pics of the decor ?“

“Food was fresh and delicious. Could tell the tortillas were homemade. Corona beer battered taco and al pastor were very good. Rollitos for an appetizer were different and hit the spot. Margaritas were balanced and refreshing (Jalapeño margarita and the Naked Margarita). Service was attentive and friendly. Happy we heard about this place. Can’t wait to try it again on a weekend!
Kid-friendliness: Waitress was asking if my 2 year old needed a water cup and a menu. It was nice to include her!
Wheelchair accessibility: My daughter uses a wheelchair and there are several tables that a wheelchair could pull up to.“

“I remember you Laura. You and your partner walked in while we were super busy. Maybe you didn't notice our heads down in the well making cocktail after cocktail after cocktail for the numerous satisfied guests. Each cocktail takes several minutes to construct. Our other guests seemed fine with the wait. While you seem more content with being a keyboard warrior. Service is something we take great pride in Laura, your lack of patience could really use some work. Oh, the elevator situated right next to the stairs may have helped get you up and down, sorry you didn't see it.“
