“First time coming here with one of my good friend.She's been here plenty of times. I had a bacon, cheeseburger and fries.And to be completely honest it was unbelievably good!!! The buns are toasted with butter and have an amazing crunch to the edges.I loved it!! Ice cold beer and and a very Good bartender!! She was very attentive. We went on march 29th. Around one o'clock in the afternoon. So whoever was bartending that day she was phenomenal!!! I don't live in the area.My friend lives in dyer. But when I visit her again we will definitely be back!!“

“I went there to help my son celebrate his birthday it's a great place I also took my 75 y.o. Aunt & my 80 y.o. mom the place is great for the younger crowd 40 & under lol but we still had a good time.The wings were great too & the owner Ms. Lisa was amazing she checked on us several times to make sure we were ok & to see if we needed anything & I also saw her in the bathroom checking it out & replacing tissue, but the icing on the cake was when we ready to leave she told my son don't worry about them getting to the car security got them they are gonna drive them & he also stayed there until we pulled off # a happy camper & customer thank you thank you & thank you again Ms. Lisa may GOD continue to # bless you & your business.“

“I've been here with some friends a couple of times and they don't disappoint. The service is great, the bartenders are really good, the food is really good and it gets a bit crowded but you never feel closed in. The outside accommodation was comfortable even when it was cold out, and the lower level option was great since we had a few more people. I was missing an item and called to explain the situation and they fixed it right away, no hassle or complications. We will definitely be back for our monthly get togethers!!!“

“Our first time there. Waitress, Lisa was very pleasant and engaging. I ordered the Back of the Yards skillet... Very good! My wife ordered a bacon/cheese omelette... She was also very satisfied! Opens at 6 am. Very clean and lit well. Saw a group of 9 local police officers there having breakfast together... Nice to see them enjoying a meal as a group! Highly recommended! And ask for Lisa!“

“Ordered a small thin crust from uber eats juss being lazy & not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Pizza sauce is very tasty, wish I had ordered it on the side for dipping my pizza in. Just the right amount of crisp in the crust and it was cooked Just how I like it. I will definitely order from here again. The only thing I didn't like was that my pizza wasn't sealed in any type of way to prevent it from being tampered with while it was being delivered. Maybe perhaps some stickers to prevent the box from being open, or put the pizza in a paper bag then staple it up at the end. Otherwise very good pizza.“

“Doc's is the kind of place where you've got people from out of town in, and they want BBQ. And you want a huge variety of tap craft beers . Or you want to go there just for the beer. Surprisingly, they also have a huge whiskey selection as well. Oh, the BBQ, very good. Pig wings are flash fried smoked wings. They are fantastic. Everything else is wonderful, brisket, pulled pork and the sides. All at a reasonable price. Service.... Staff is very knowledgeable, especially the bartender who knows a thing or two about the liquor he serves. Great place ??“

“The only reason I’m leaving a 4 is because of the ladies restroom. Plenty of soap, no paper towel, and the air dryer was not up to par. There’s a slip and fall risk because of where the sink is in relation to where the hand dryer is. Lots of water on the floor, and the floor is slick. Otherwise, the food was great, and our server was amazing, I think her name was Tiffany. Great menu suggestions and very personable! I’ll definitely be back!“

Every time I sit down in a booth it makes me feel like i can talk about nothing, (a Seinfeld reference). The menu is full of classic diner dishes, from hearty breakfast options to juicy burgers and sandwiches to homemade soups and salads. I particularly enjoyed the Tuna melt, which was perfectly put together with just the right amount of cheese and tune on white bread. The French toast was also excellent, with a soft and fluffy texture that melted in my mouth. But if you want the traditional, just order the all American breakfast, 2 sunny side up eggs with hash browns and two slices of bread, along with a cup of coffee. Everything is delicious. The staff at De Mar's are friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. They were quick to offer suggestions on what to order and were always on hand to refill drinks or answer any questions. The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. There is plenty of seating, so you won't have to wait long to be seated, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and service. “We have ordered turkey burgers with sweet potato fries for several consecutive weeks, and each time we have not been disappointed.In addition, today we ordered the fish taco platter, the rail splitting pasta, and the white bean chicken chili. Our meals were delicious. Seasoned just right. “Very friendly staff, Lulu was as sweet as can be! I very much appreciate a server who is so genuine and attentive. In general the food options are pretty good, but - I have many friends who are vegan or vegetarian. It's hard to find a place that offers any unique options for them Having a disappointed friend always detracts from a lunch date (A soup or another cooked veggie option would be surprising and delightful!).They were also out of the poppyseed dressing that really makes the salad it's for, that was another 2 friends slightly disappointed. We all did enjoy the tea options! Please get some more peach in stock soon :)Vegetarian options: There is a veggie wrap, does have feta cheese and ranch. It would be really nice to see a few more vegetarian/ vegan options, veggie wraps seem like the default option for every restaurant.“

“We have never been here before and was trying someplace new. We enjoyed it and would go again the next time we were inIndiana. My husband had Apple Pancakes which is not what he wanted, he said the Apple Pancake which is baked in the oven. We waited a minute which is fine because that particular pancake takes about 40 minutes and then to see that all he got wA regular pancakes with apples om top, couldn't understand the wait time. He was too hungry to wait for her to redo the order so he said it was fine and just ate it. I had steak skillet which was tasty as well. I had to add salt, it needed some flavor and it was supposed to have Bleu Cheese crumbles in it but I didn't see or taste much cheese.“

Italian Beef sliders were delicious and disappeared in about 30 seconds. Brought the crab cakes, wedge salad and grilled salmon back for my wife and they were all gone in about 10 minutes despite feeding a fussy baby at the same time. The butterscotch espresso martini is a decadent treat you can't skip. My only critiques are that as a whole, the prices are a bit steep, the space is small and probably not great for a large group, and the tomatoes in the Caprese were disappointingly bland. But if you're looking to spoil yourself and/or someone close to you, this is an excellent venue for it.“

“I love this place! They are always very friendly when we come in and it's never super busy. Their food is reasonably priced and it tastes delicious. My current favorite menu item is their burger and fries. It's always so fresh and the fries are so crispy. My partner always gets their tacos and they love them! “12/1/23, Friday eve tried this restaurant after a few years of pandemic issues, glad we did! Rachel, our service provider was delightful and attentive. We chose the pork ribs and they melted in you mouth. Great sauce.The cole slaw was excellent and my martini was reasonably priced and very tasty with cheesy olive garnish. Rachel answered all our question and explained changes to the menu which needs updating. All in all we really enjoyed our meal and atmosphere. “A friend brought me here for the first time, specifically for the pot roast dishes. I had the Flatbread and it is delicious! It is a bar, and has limited space, but for 2 of us at lunchtime we had the whole back room that was quiet. Cici was super nice and attentive. We very much enjoyed our visit.“

Well it was Friday and we decided to have the Lake Perch, people were talking about how good the chicken was so I intend to go back and try it. They rotate their drink menu, there are always good local options (e.g., IPAs, Stouts, Lagers, Sours, Ciders), and they have a nice outdoor seating area that can be used during the warmer months. The bartenders are nice and playful and their food menu includes some clearly identified vegan options. They also have a couple of old arcade games you can play for free and have a bingo night, which is fun.“

It's an intimate restaurant with a small waiting area that leads out to the eating entrance that has at least 10 tables ranging from 2 to 4 seats, two restrooms, drinking station used by the employees and the cooking area. The Waitress was pleasant and experienced. The presentation of each dish was mouthwatering as you can see. The taste was very much to my liking and seasoning to a minimum as it should be. The amount of food you get for the price is definitely feasible. Yes, you get your monies worth! The Cook that day was on point and delivered! He needs his own tip jar! The way he made the hashbrowns are unique with this mashed/hashbrown taste that melts in your mouth. My omelet was loaded with spinach, I definitely took in my daily dosage of Vitamin C for that day. Freshness and not overcooked was also key. Restaurants like this are fading away in St. Louis City and we need to "Bring Back America" with this here. In my Arnold Schwarzenegger voice, "I will be back".“

If you go, make sure you check out to the back yard area & go for a walk around the new path they've made. Theres a walkway than goes behind the pond and goes back up to the other side of the patio. “Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“

Everytime we order, we always ask for them to not dip it and to put it on the side. Everytime they have dipped it, and my bread was soggy. That's a no go for me!! The service was top notch with very attentive wait staff.I ordered the Sliced Roast Turkey, and my wife went with the Chicken and Lake Perch Combo. My Turkey was good, though slightly on the dry side but the gravy helped with that. The dressing and potatoes were good.My wife’s dinner was very large, and she said it all tasted good. She didn’t agree with the reviews about the chicken being the best, but she said it was fine.
