She is very familiar with event hosting and has a solid understanding of the wedding industry. It was a pleasure to work with Dani for her reliable communication, attention to detail, and professional coordination of vendors and reception timeline. Dani respected our floor plan design so the seating arrangement was exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. There was ample seating and space for our DJ, photo booth, dessert table and a gifts table. Our guests especially loved the food and the open bar. Overall, we were pleased with the entire server staff of The Emerald Green. If you are interested in a beautiful venue to host your next event, we recommend this!“

“well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

The Pineapple Habanero Wings were a solid 10/10. They also have the coldest Draft Beers I've ever had so that's definitely a plus. The atmosphere was comfortable. I genuinely recommend you give them a try.“

“Must try this place!!! So good went back 2 days in a row!!! First time got the Nachos Mexicanos with steak, chicken enchiladas with red mole and a bacon cheeseburger! Second time tried the fajita with steak, chicken and carnitas with cheese on top! All of it so flavorful not bland likeost places! Tommy is a Great server/bartender! Can't go wrong with the homemade cantaritos either!!!“

All the food I've had has been good and we visit weekly. The place serves pizza, and it is good, but pizza is definitely a personal decision. Staff is friendly and accommodating. A place worth visiting if you haven't already.“

“Unfortunately, my first visit here was really disappointing 😕 The fried food tasted like it had been cooked in old grease, which gave everything an unpleasant flavor. The chicken was especially bad and didn’t taste fresh at all 🍗❌ The onion rings were also not enjoyable and seemed overcooked and greasy 😞 The only thing I actually liked was the sandwich, which was decent 👍 Everything else was so disappointing that I couldn’t even finish it. I honestly don’t think I would come back again after this experience 💔“

“I had heard they had prime rib tacos, I have never had prime rib tacos. I guess you can only get them on Wednesday so I called and ordered carry out. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The taco itself was absolutely delicious! So savory and moist. I am glad I ordered 3 of them. I will 100% be going back.“

“This place was great! For the first time in along time I finally got an omelet that wasn't browned! That says alot! I usually have to order something to try and cover the taste that browning the egg creates. Not here! Perfectly cooked, they definitely know what they are doing. Fresh ingredients and nicely plated. Every single detail of our dinner was flawless. Our server, Christian, truly elevated the evening. He was incredibly attentive, helpful, and provided world-class service from start to finish. As for the food...wow! The wine selection was amazing and our cab franc paired perfectly with our meal. I ordered the wagyu ribeye, which was 16oz of melt-in-your-mouth fantastic...my dining partner had the scallops. They were cooked so well they would make Gordon Ramsey speechless!!

“We typically love it here. However, we had an easily avoidable issue yesterday. The app only allows the "call ahead" for up to 6. We had a party of 12. So, we called the location to ask if they could accommodate a party of 12. We kept getting placed on hold by 3 different employees only to be told they can't give a time estimate until we are physically there (15+minutes btw of employee after employee). Okay, we pack up and head there. After arriving we are told they can't even sit the 12 of us together and it's a 1.5 hour wait. What a WASTE of OUR time. I understand the wait is based on the customer traffic. But if you guys know you can't sit 12 together, TELL US OVER THE DAM PHONE!!!!!!“

“Visiting the area and family wanted us to try their brews as one of their favorites. Tried a flight of 10 beers and favs were Tangerine Trackstar, Toxic Words, Lucifer in a haze, Immoveable King, Nuban overlord and the top one Here comes the reaper. We also had the Pretzel and queso for snacks. They were very good and fast. They also had ice tea which is not always available at breweries. I will say the art work gave me pause and some of the names being a Christian but I don't know the background to comment.“

“I’m shocked that more people aren’t talking about this place. My wife and I got 4 hot dogs from here yesterday to give it a try and we were both massively impressed. Usually when I hear “gourmet” hot do for $6, I prepare myself to be disappointed or still hungry. These hot dogs could easily go for $10-$15 in any major city. My Chicago dog was piled high and my Maxwell polish was delicious. My wife got the mac and cheese dog and the cheesey does it. Both were massive hits. We will be back and I have begun already making everyone at my work aware of this place.“

“It's always a pleasure to go to Old Town the white people treat you so good down there the food is great the drinks is a reasonable price it won't hurt your pocket so I try my best stay away from black owned club because black owned club black owned places are too high and too expensive they hurt black people pocket so old town is the place to go I'm keeping all this 100 💯“

“I come here every week or so with my 3yo nephew and it’s our favorite spot. We’ll get some pizza, maybe something from the salad bar or mac and cheese or soup from inside the Whole Foods, and grab some food and I’ll get a drink from the bar. They have a bunch of card and board games to play while you’re there. I also love the outdoor seating in the summer; they have a tv outside too to catch the game, as well as two tvs inside. Matt is amazing and knowledgeable about the drinks and food, and is very kind to us. We truly look forward to seeing him on our visits. Highly recommend to anyone who wants some good food, drinks, and vibes! :)“

“Well, if they cook your food properly, it's not bad... however, if they don't and you need to send it back to cook it (not a fan of raw burgers 🤷‍♀️) and it comes back the same way... be prepared to not eat and pay for the meal anyway. I asked for it to be removed from our bill (over $100 total so not just a couple things) and they removed it after a small "fight" but literally charged us for a basket of fries cuz I ate a few fries off my plate, I guess. they don't take care of their mistakes nor do they care to make things right. Lost future business, everyone at the table was shocked.“

“We always love the food from Cracker Barrel. This last visit was unfortunately not very good. We had to continuously ask for syrup for the pancakes and then when they brought them, they brought the wrong kind as we needed sugar-free by the time they did get it to us pancakes were a little bit better than lukewarm. The eggs were not cooked the way we had asked. The service was very slow and although all this sounds bad, we will of course be going back because most of the time it’s good service and good food. We were at the Cracker Barrel in Merrillville, Indiana.“
