And their fries they're fries I'd slap my grandma over there fries they're that good. Staff is always helpful friendly smiling the food is always hot and fresh only complaint I have is that they serve Pepsi, and don't nobody got no time for Pepsi. I'm addicted to diet coke anyway go get you a cheeseburger or a double cheeseburger from krekels it'll knock your Aunt Connie socks off“

“I have been eating here since it opened in 2019. One of the best places to eat in town. Highly recommend chicken tenders, wings, the smash burgers, and the gizzards. Lemon pepper is sprinkled on every order. Ask for stingin' honey garlic sauce on whatever it is you're buying - you won't regret it.“

“This place never disappoints. It's one of those places you'll only find locally. So, if you're not from around here, this is the spot to eat. The lemon ice cream is something you have to try. Be sure that if you want lettuce and tomato, you specify this as it is not included if you just ask for "everything"“

“The food is always delicious here. My favorite item on the menu is the lemon shake. You must try it out it's refreshing all year long. They also have breaded tenderloins and they are delicious too. Or if you must get the chili and fries...... Either way I don't think you will be disappointed.“

Luckily, you should be able to see the bright red barn in the corner of the parker lot with it's inviting menu and delicious smells!Vern and Sue are the owners, and they just opened to the public! He, a former restaurant owner, and she, a chef and business woman, are starting this new food truck (barn on a trailer) and have an incredible menu! They have an assortment of tenderloins, fries, friend chicken, fried catfish, catfish nuggets, burgers, and tons of flavors of snow cones! Most items come as sandwiches or dinners. This is all fresh and made to order so pop into the liquor store, play a couple slots or grab an adult beverage inside while you wait. They do have drinks for sale too but get the snow cone for $2- it will be just as refreshing as a beverage! Everything is very reasonably priced for a local business and if you have $10, you won't go away hungry from here! We got 2 of the biggest, juiciest filets of catfish I've ever seen and I swear this is the best I've ever had! Still drooling over the amazing cornbread breading and perfectly deep-fried moist catfish. Mmm! Fried Chicken: This breading is incredible! It must have some sort of leavening agent as it is so light and fluffy and crispy goodness (but isn't heavy like chicken chains!). Would 100% recommend to anyone trying to get a fix of a chicken sandwich; You can customize all the toppics (pickles, onions, tomato slices, etc. plus packets of every sauce you can imagine!). I loved it and would definitely go back! Highly recommend 5 Stars!“

“The cashier here lied to me! She said the best thing about Decatur was the university. This isn’t true! She left off the double cheeseburger here at Kreckel’s!Come in and expect a clean restaurant with friendly staff, delicious burgers and chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh!I could tell my burger was cooked on a very hot grill because it had a delicious little bit of char on it and great peppery taste. I thought the double had a good meat to bun ratio. The fries were crispy out and soft inside.I hope I get a chance to come back and try more around the menu!“

“We were at hotshots durning the day on Sunday. The server shae was great.Our only problem was that our alcohol drinks took a very long time. We noticed the bartender was sitting on her phone she wasn’t making our drinks until our server has to ask to get the drink made.“

“Went to visit University Dogs while in Decatur for work. Ordered a steamed chicago style hot dog and small order of fries. The service and atmosphere of the place was pretty nice. The hot dog was pretty tasty. The only complaint I have regarding this place is that the fries are not that good unfortunately. But I would definitely recommend the Chicago style hot dog.“
