“Best date night spot! I always get pink lemonade & chicken parm! We try different appetizers, the last time was the garlic cheese curds and they were exactly what I'd expect! So garlicy in the outside and gooey cheese on the inside. The staff is so friendly, the food is so delicious. Highly recommend trying to get a booth if you can! It's a whole different experience eating in their booth(although the table doesn't change the yummy food).“

“A friendly environment with a great staff. The menu is tried and true complemented by amazing daily specials introduced by the new owner and his dedicated staff. For an Italian restaurant, we were surprised by the outstanding BBQ Ribs and Pot Roast specials - Sells out early, so we show up on Sundays before five to ensure get a slab before they sell out! We’ve been enjoying LDV for almost twenty years and did not know what were missing or the possibilities. Under Joe’s ownership/management and his vision it’s been transformational experience. I would recommend stopping over for one of the specials and taking a minute to introduce yourself to Joe.“

“Love the atmosphere, the food and drinks...always awesome, however I recently find the professionalism of the staff to be lacking and what's with the dress code or should I say lack there of? Its not a sports bar...a bartender dressed in a Hawaiian Shirt with pineapples says I'm on the beach with Tome Cruise in the movie "Cocktail". Not what people expect to see in Balagios.“

“Got catered for Xmas Eve. Big portions. The lady working the counter handing out the orders had a bit of an attitude. I didn’t get my bread for the order and she didn’t believe me at first. I’m not gonna steal $9 in bread after paying $150 for catering.“

“We placed a large order for our Christmas Party and everything was so delicious. Everyone was asking where the food was from the whole night. We got the Windy City package and a few sides. Everyone’s belly was full and we sent leftovers home with everyone. We will definitely order again for future parties.“

We came in close to closing and ordered this pizza - they were happy to make it for us and went out of their way to make us comfortable while we waited for it. We were not disappointed. “Ok so the food is great, authentic Italian and fantastic pizza. The atmosphere is nice and has a cool patio. The carry out is best in class, as they have fine wine, spirits, and craft beer available to purchase along with your to go order. And it’s a great price. This is one stop shop dinner party.“

I recently stopped by Pops Italian Beef and Sausage, and I have to say, I was quite impressed! The atmosphere is friendly and clean, making it a comfortable place to grab a bite. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak, and it did not disappoint—bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked!
The seating options are good, which adds to the overall experience. As someone traveling in a semi-truck, I appreciated that there is parking available, although it's a bit limited. However, trucks come and go regularly, so you shouldn’t have too much trouble finding a spot.
Overall, a solid choice for a hearty meal. I highly recommend trying their Philly cheesesteak if you're in the area!“

“I love their pizza, but tonight I feel that I received absolutely terrible service. I called at 7:45. I believe that they close at 9. The first time I said "Hi, I would like to order a pizza for delivery." Respons : Male voice "Goodbye" Hang up. I call back open line and a lot of laughing in the back ground. I say hello... hello. Hang up. I call back again. A girl answers and again I state that I want a pizza for delivery. Response: We aren't taking any more orders. I say OK thanks fr letting me know, and this is a better response than the guy hanging up on me. At this point she says nothing and just hangs up. That is a bs response and way to deal with cuatomers. I used to deliver for Gino's East back in the day and you make your bones on New Year's because everyone is drunk and hungry and you make great tips. Crap service from ordinarily a good place. Managers need to take charge.“
