“We tried to eat at the Peace Rd location but there were no seats mainly because of all the inconsiderate old guys treating it like a Panera and sitting around talking. Never saw that at the original restaurant. Nothing more inconsiderate than old retired people who think they’re entitled. PS I’m retired.“

“If you want food that is delicious and more than enough in quantity, please go to Parkway restaurant. All ages are very welcome. We have been going to Parkway for decades. Also, you can dine in or use their curbside pickup. We have done both. ENJOY!!“

“very displeased with the way my situation was handled. I ordered a Denver omelette and something in it was spoiled made me violently ill. I sent the Omelette back in turn they I wanted something else, so I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. when we paid for our meal you would think that they would comp The Omelette meal for me being sick and it being spoiled they did not inreturn they charged everything a la carte the pancakes and the hash browns down to the onions. the only thing they took off was the omelette. and then still charged me for the biscuits and gravy also. very very poor service you sell somebody something spoiled. end up sick from the spoiled food and not only did I have to pay monetarily I also paid physically for it. two breakfast meals two coffees one soda one of which we cannot eat $45. we will not be back. however I will say the waitress we had was amazing and it was not her fault. she was the best part of our service there.“

“I am sure restaurants probably get their fare share of criticism and complaints when things go wrong. But I would be curious as to how many comments they get when things go right? And in this case really right. This was my first visit to the restaurant in Sugar Grove. I had previously dined twice at the other location. While that location was good, it was not as good as this location. Our server was exemplary, the food was outstanding, and the experience itself was delightful. It was anything anybody could ask for when they were dining out. Fabulous job guys!“

It was so nice to eat at a restaurant where everything on the menu is better than anything I can cook myself. No question, their kitchen staff are professionals. The price point is barely more you'd pay for corporate casual, at a time when fast food can cost you $20 a person, most of their entrees are in the $28 range. I don't want to throw shade at anyone else's restaurant in particular, but I haven't enjoyed a dining experience like that in years and I've been to almost every more upscale restaurant in this area. If you are in the industry you need to go and, and take notes. The service was impeccable, and they made no effort to rush us out the door to turn over the table. It was so nice to feel like a civilized human being.“

“Some serious nostalgia going on here! Such a cool spot to grab a bite to eat or get a sweet treat if you are traveling off of the interstates! We stopped in here on a lazy Sunday afternoon and this place was popping! You can feel that 50s diner feel when you step inside. “We stopped here after our son’s graduation from NIU this past Saturday afternoon. We had a party of 11 and showed up unannounced. The staff went above and beyond to get us all seated as soon as they were able. The host consistently kept us informed of table status. Once we were seated, we had drink orders taken immediately. Meal orders shortly after. The incredible staff all worked fast to bring us our salads and soups, and then our entrees arrived in no time. Everything was accurate and delicious.
